Walkthrough

    In the area with large head-like boulders, destroy them to find Golden Scarabs and Life of the Gods items. Enter the next area with a large pool, dive in to find another Golden Scarab and a Life of the Gods.

    Enter the Cavern, go to the end, and jump down to a small enclosure. Kill the Ghost Fish with Flails, then dive into the water and emerge on the other side. Slide down the slope into the Ice Cavern Depths.

    Upon landing, Shadow Fiends and Ogres will appear. You can fight them or use a Bird Flip on a nearby wall to jump to the top ledge and open a chest for a Life of the Gods. Continue into the Ice Cavern.

    Find a Save Point and a large doorway missing an item. Save your game. Jump down, kill the appearing enemies, follow the path right, and climb up. Turn right again, break the ice, and fall into a small ice enclosure with enemies. Kill them and jump to the top cavern.

    In the Ruins area, find the SHIELD OF VIGOOR on the opposite side of a metal-making device. Return to the door near the Save Point, save your game, and place the shield on the door to open it.

    Enter the Magma Lake area. Approach the large globe to obtain the STONE TABLET (LEFT). To kill Ogres in the magma, use a non-essence charged Ultimate Technique (UT) from a distance. Use Wall Runs to cross magma gaps and drop to dry land.

    At the other end, use a Wall Run to reach a ledge above billowing smoke. Shimmy right, drop down, and jump to a small enclosure to fight Ogres. Continue onward.

    Slam the large step button to reveal floating platforms. Jump across them, past dinos, to the other side with a Muramasa Statue and Save Point. Save your game. Use a Wall-To-Wall Run from the wall enclosure next to the statue to enter another area with Ogres. Eliminate them.

    Enter the doorway across from where you landed to reach the See-Saw Room.

    Before using the see-saw, jump down to the dry ledge on the right to find a Golden Scarab.

    Jump on the see-saw. Let it go all the way down, then run to the top and jump to the upper room before the weight shifts. In the upper cavern, destroy the Ghost Fish. Approach the large boiling pot to pour hot Iron Ore onto the other side.

    Use the see-saw to reach another room above the exit door. Open the chest inside for a goodie. Make your way back to the Ice Cavern, saving at the Magma Lake first.

    Return to the Ruins to find the COG OF VIGOOR.

    Next to the COG OF VIGOOR is a Save Point. Save your game. Approach the ice chunk in the corner and slam it to enter a new area for the BOSS BATTLE: YOTUNFRAU.

    After defeating Yotunfrau, use a Bird Flip to reach the top of the room. Flip over the ledge and drop down to catch the next ledge. Jump up and open the chest to find the ART OF THE INAZUMA Ninpo Scroll. Jump down, then Bird Flip to the top and return to the Magma Cavern.

    Go to the Save Point in the Magma Lake area, save your game, and replenish stock at Muramasa's Statue. Place the COG OF VIGOOR on the door next to the Save Point and enter for BOSS BATTLE: FLAME WORM X2.

    After the battle, stock up at Muramasa's and save your game. Across from the Magma Lake, run and jump up to the large face door using the floating platforms. Place the EYE OF ICE and the EYE OF FLAME on the door to open it.

    Approach the mantle and grab the DEVIL DIETY statue to trigger BOSS BATTLE: SMAUGAN.
Tips
  • To defeat Ogres in the magma, use a non-essence charged Ultimate Technique (UT) from a distance.
  • Use Wall Runs to cross magma gaps.
  • Use a Wall-To-Wall Run to enter enclosed areas with enemies.
  • On Hard Mode, Yotunfrau will be assisted by Kiyatts.
  • On Hard Mode, there are no changes for the Flame Worm boss battle.
  • On Hard Mode, Smaugan will be assisted by Gahrulas.
