Part 15

Boss Battle: Masakado
Masakado fights similarly to the previous Horsemen but is assisted by Warlocks. Block his attacks. The main strategy is to kill the Warlocks, collect their essence, and use it for Ultimate Techniques (UT) on Masakado. When Masakado is near (screen shakes and brightens), unleash a UT to deal significant damage (around 20% of his health). After the battle, collect the COUNTERATTACK scroll and approach the doorway.

Area: Clan Leader's Residence
Enter the burning courtyard, clear out the Samurais and Warlocks. Do not enter the house immediately. Go to the small alley on the left side of the house to find a chest with an item.

Inside the House
Enter the house and slice open burning walls to reveal hidden Samurais. Evade them and prioritize killing the Warlocks. Be cautious of the burning area in the center of the house.

Hidden Item: Life OTG
After clearing enemies, go to the back of the room and look for an open gap on the left. Enter the gap, go down the hall, and find a chest containing a Life OTG item.

Boss Battle: Doku
This is a challenging battle with Ryu at a disadvantage (Level 1 Dragon Sword, low HP). Doku wields the Dark Dragon Blade; if he stabs you, the mission ends. Defeating him unlocks Mission Mode. Keep your distance and roll back as Doku approaches. Bait his attacks (5-Hit Combo, Tremor Attack, Rush Attack, Double Rush Attack, Purple Fire Breath, The "Stab"). Evade his attacks and quickly counter with a Square, Triangle, Triangle combo, then roll away. This combo can deal about 2% damage if he doesn't block. Be aggressive and attack whenever Doku misses an attack to avoid "The Stab".
