Walkthrough

    After clearing the room, place the SERPENT DEITY statue on the mantle and exit through the adjacent door.

    Slice more Fish with the Flails and ascend to the fourth floor.

    Jump off the ledge near the fourth-floor doorway to land on a smaller ledge below.

    Grab GOLDEN SCARAB #50 at the end of this ledge. This is the last Scarab; bring it to Muramasa for a new weapon.

    Return to the fourth-floor doorway.

    In THE CORE - 4TH FLOOR, defeat the Red Dinos and Crab Fiends. Equip the True Dragon Sword and focus on Crab Fiends with hard combos and Flying Swallows. Use Ultimate Techniques (UTs) or Explosive Arrows on the dinos.

    Once the room is cleared, place the RAPTOR DIETY statue on the mantle to clear the entire Core.

    Exit through the adjacent door and slice the Ghost Fish in the stairway.

    Ascend the stairs to THE IMPERIAL PALACE CORE.

    On the top floor, you'll find two chests, a Save Point, and a TEAM NINJA logo. Save your game. If you need to visit Muramasa's Shop, the closest is in Tairon.

    Enter the portal for an epic battle.

    In HELLISH DEPTHS, defeat the swarming Shadow Fiends using counterattacks and UTs.

    You will be transported to a boss battle against Hydracubus. Defeat it using the same strategy as before, now easier with the True Dragon Sword (TDS).

    After Hydracubus, more Shadow Fiends will appear, with Marbus occasionally tossing fireballs. Evade his fireballs when he laughs.

    Once the Shadow Fiends are dead, you will face Yotunfrau. Defeat Yotunfrau as you did in the Ice Cavern.

    After Yotunfrau, you will face Marbus.

BOSS BATTLE: MARBUS

  1. Marbus's attacks include FIEND SUMMON, KAMIKAZE DIVE, FLY-BY TACKLE, KAMIKAZE PUNCH, and MULTIPLE FIREBALLS.
  2. Block his Fly-by tackle and evade other attacks.
  3. When he flies up and spins fast for the Kamikaze Dive, use a well-timed Reverse Wind to evade. Attack him when he kneels.
  4. Evade fireballs with roll jumps.
  5. When he snarls and prepares for the Kamikaze Punch, use a well-timed Reverse Wind and then roll in for a hard combo.
  6. Kill summoned Shadow Fiends with Izuna Drops and counterattacks.
  7. If possible, perform an Ultimate Attack when floating essence is present and Marbus is close.
  8. The main strategy is to bait Marbus into attacking, evade, and counter at the right moment.
  9. Once Marbus is defeated, grab the DEMON DEITY statue.

Walkthrough (Continued):

  1. With the DEMON DEITY statue, place it on the mantle across from the Save Point in THE IMPERIAL PALACE CORE to open the doors above.
  2. Save your game. Restock at Muramasa's Shop or finish missed Enemy Ambushes if needed.
  3. Enter through the doors above the Core and go up the stairs until a cutscene is triggered.
  4. You will face THE EMPEROR - FORM 1.

BOSS BATTLE: THE EMPEROR - FORM 1

  1. The Emperor has a melee swipe attack and a Laser Beam attack (diagonal and circular).
  2. To dodge beams, hold Block and move the Analog Stick UP or DOWN to adjust the platform.
  3. For diagonal beams, position Ryu BETWEEN the laser paths or jump down the platform.
  4. Do NOT waste Ninpo.
  5. For circular beams, move all the way BACK and AWAY from the boss.
  6. Evade the melee attack by moving away.
  7. Attack the three large Orbs on its body (shoulders and chest) to damage it.
  8. Dodge beams, close in, and perform hard combos like the Dragon Tear.
  9. Once The Emperor is defeated, the next wave begins.
