Walkthrough

    Save your game using the Save Point. Use the LIONESS KEY to enter the next area for the boss battle against SPECTRAL Doku.

    After the boss battle, begin Chapter 18: The Core. Equip the Flails and kill all the Fish in the area. Grab the RAPTOR DEITY statue to reveal the exit.

    Approach the Save Point and SAVE your game. Go to the far right to find a chest. Then, go the other way, search a dead body for a MAP, and continue down the path.

    Encounter Shadow Fiends and a Crab Fiend. Use Izuna Drops on Shadow Fiends and Ultimate Techniques (UTs) on the Crab Fiend. Approach the chest in the far corner for a Devil Elixir.

    Objective: Find the Key of the Decayed Soul

    Area: Palace Compound. If the Imperial Palace door is locked, go back towards the large gateway. You will be swarmed by Ghost Fish. Use the Flails to kill them and gather essence. Open the doorway to trigger a cutscene.

    Area: Stairway to the Imperial Palace. After the cutscene, search a dead body for an additional item.

    Life of the Gods #27: Return to Great Bridge Square, enter the building Rachel cracked open, and use a Wall-To-Wall Run to the top ledge to find the last Life of the Gods. Equip it to increase your life bar.

    Enemy Ambush: Great Bridge Square. Across from where you found the last Life OTG, there is a glowing portal. If you didn't unlock the gate in Chapter 4, go to the end of the alleyway, turn right, use a Bird Flip to reach the upper ledge, and jump towards the portal.

    Enter the portal to face Pink Shadow Fiends and Arioch Crab Fiends. Evade the Arioch Crab and focus on killing the Shadow Fiends first. Use a True Dragon Sword UT on the Arioch Crabs with the leftover essence. The prize for completing this challenge is a TALISMAN OF REBIRTH.

    If needed, visit Muramasa's Shop to replenish stock before entering the Imperial Palace. Enter the Imperial Palace with the Decayed Key.

    Area: The Core - 1st Floor. Kill the Red Dinos using the Dabilahro and Flaming Hell Slash followed by Flaming Whirlwind. Separate the dinos to avoid attacks from behind. Place the WOLF DEITY statue on the mantle. Exit through the adjacent door, equip the Flails, kill the Ghost Fish, and ascend to the next floor. Open the chest.

    Area: The Core - 2nd Floor. Kill the Red Dinos and place the DEVIL DEITY statue on the mantle. Exit through the adjacent door, use the Flails for the Ghost Fish, and ascend to the third floor.

    Area: The Core - 3rd Floor. Face Crab Fiends. Equip the True Dragon Sword and use hard combos. Stay evasive and use Explosive Arrows.
Tips
  • Baiting Doku into his Rush Attack is key. Roll away and counter with a Square, Triangle 2-hit combo for significant damage (10-15% health).
  • If Doku doesn't Rush Attack early, prepare for a long battle of waiting.
  • When fighting Shadow Fiends and Arioch Crab Fiends in the ambush, prioritize killing the Shadow Fiends first before focusing on the Arioch Crabs.
  • When fighting Red Dinos, separate them to avoid being attacked from behind.
