Begin the 'Factory Recon' mission. Your first enemies are Small Stubbies, followed by a Medium Biped.

After a scene, you will face the boss, Marx (Buzzsaw).

After defeating Marx, proceed through the factory. You will be instructed to shoot down beams to create a path.

After crossing the beam path, defeat Small Flyers. Collect Copper Ore from a corner.

Destroy a Small Stubby and collect Copper Ore from the right.

In the next hallway, defeat Small Stubbies. Dodge their energy orbs and slash them. Collect Copper Ore behind them.

Go up the stairs. 9S will contact you and provide the mini-map.

Move across the walkway and up the stairs to a large cylinder/container.

At the top of the stairs, jump left to another catwalk and fight Small Flyers.

Find a Rusty Bolt. To the left of it, platforms go up. Jump across these platforms to the left to find a chest with Small Recovery.

If you went right from the stairs, fight many Small Stubbies on a narrow catwalk for XP.

Look for a missing part of the rail before the stairs. Jump across to find a chest with Large Recovery.

At the end of this path, find a control panel that lowers a crane, creating a shortcut to the beginning.

Go right before entering the door (left of the platforms) to find Copper Ore and a Medium Biped.

Enter the door into an arena-type room. Destroy many Small Stubbies and Small Flyers.

Exit the room and go up through the door to a new area.

As soon as you enter, open the chest on the right for 1000G.

Ahead, find Copper Ore and more stairs. Go up, grab Copper Ore, and kill Small Stubbies and Small Flyers.

Go right and find a ladder going up. Continue right, grab Copper Ore, and go up the stairs.

Return across the gap and continue right. Fight Small Flyers.

The elevator cannot be used. Go across the door to the other side.

Descend the stairs, collect Copper Ore, and kill a Small Stubby. Continue onto the catwalks.

When the camera angle changes, find a chest with 1000G.

Continue south. As you go down stairs, kill Small Stubbies. At the end, a Medium Biped and Small Stubbies appear.

Go up the stairs and across the catwalk, killing enemies. You will descend to another arena-type area.

Two trailers on the right open, containing Small Stubbies. Attack them, hack them, and dodge their attacks.

After killing them, two more trailers fall on the left with more Small Stubbies. Attack and move away.

Jump on top of the trailers on the right and go up the stairs.

Tips

Small Stubbies are weak and can be easily dealt with using lock-on and rapid attacks.
For the Medium Biped, dodge its punches and jumps.
When facing multiple enemies, keep your Fire Button pressed to destroy projectiles easily.
Dodge often when fighting groups of enemies in confined spaces.
Utilize the mini-map provided by 9S for navigation.
Explore side paths and optional areas to find chests and collect valuable items like Copper Ore and recovery items.
