You'll start in an area with a large tree. Use this tree as your primary cover throughout the fight. Look north to spot the initial group of enemy soldiers. Equip your M16A1 or Twin Barrel and take them all out.

Keep an eye on the Mi-24A Attack Chopper. It will fly east and deploy more soldiers. As soon as you see them appearing, quickly switch to your launcher (like the LAW/RPG2) and fire at the group to eliminate most, if not all, of them.

Immediately return to cover behind the tree. If any soldiers survived the rocket barrage, use your M16A1 to finish them off.

Repeat this process: wait for the chopper to deploy more soldiers, take them out with your launcher as they appear, and then clean up any survivors with your rifle.

Eventually, the commander will appear on top of the chopper. This is your main target.

When the chopper is stationary and the commander is visible, aim and fire a single LAW/RPG2 missile at it. This should be enough to defeat the commander and end the battle.

Tips

The Mi-24A's main attacks are its turret and missiles. Always stay behind cover when it's firing.
If you run out of LAW/RPG2 ammo or want an alternative, you can use your shield and grenades while protected by the shield if soldiers survive.
This fight is generally considered easier than the Pupa battle.
