Objective 1:

Your first mission in Medal of Honor: Allied Assault! Learn how to rescue your comrades, take down enemy soldiers, and advance through the town in this step-by-step guide.

Alright, so you're starting up Medal of Honor: Allied Assault for the first time. You'll kick things off in the back of an old truck, looking out at the one behind you. Take a moment to turn around inside your truck and check out your buddies. Your captain's gonna give you the rundown on this mission – it's a rescue op, so listen up for the details. He'll then tell you to keep it quiet and kill the lights. Some of your squadmates will peek outside, so you should do the same. You'll see a soldier from the truck behind checking something, and then BAM! He shoots one of your guys dead. Rough start, I know.

Now, as soon as your troops tell you to "Go!", don't just blindly follow. Before you hop out, take a look at the wall to your left. There's a soldier on top of it – take him out with your M1 Garand. Once he's down, it's time to move. Hop out of the truck and face southwest. You'll spot another soldier a little ways off. Line up your shot and take him down. If your first bullet misses, don't sweat it, you've still got a shot. Aim for the torso or head for a clean kill. After that, move up past the corner of the wall. You'll see some enemies firing at you from the gate opening. Deal with them, then head up to the gate itself. You'll see a soldier crouching with a red flag behind him. Instead of shooting him directly, aim for the red barrel to his right. It'll explode and take him out.

As soon as that's done, move into the wall opening. You'll see two troops running down towards you. Put a couple of rounds into them, and they should both go down. If not, just keep firing until they're neutralized. Now, walk through the gateway and into the town with your squad. Follow the walkway and peek around the corner – there are two guards waiting for you. Take them out. Your point man *should* handle the guard on top of the house, and your other troops will deal with the enemy directly behind you, so you can focus on the immediate threats.

Keep moving past the corner and the next one. You'll see another enemy running towards you from around the bend. Shoot him quickly, or he'll duck for cover. If he does, sidestep left until you get a clear shot and take him down. Your troops will then move past you. Your captain will call for a regroup, so head over to them. As you walk with them, this objective will wrap up!
