Confuse the Goalie with Skillshots

Ever notice how some powerful shots can knock the goalie back? There's a similar system you can use with Skillshots, specifically the Fire Meteor. By constantly hitting Kritter with Fire Meteor shots, you can eventually set his hands alight and confuse him, making him fall to the ground groaning. It's a bit like the system for knocking him back, but this one aims to disorient him. While powerful shots might work, the Fire Meteor is your best bet. This trick is great for scoring opportunities, but it requires a good amount of setup and can be slow. Honestly, you'll probably score before you manage to confuse him, but it's a neat trick to keep in your back pocket.

Standing in the Spotlight (Diddy Kong's Super Ability)

This one's a bit luck-based, similar to Daisy's trick, but definitely easier once you've got the Super Ability. To get a Super Ability, you'll need to land several charged shots on the goal or use lob passes and get tackled by an opponent to win items. Once you have Diddy Kong's Super Ability, head to a corner in the opponent's half and use it. Now, stand right in the middle of that tractor beam effect. If an opponent tries to tackle you, they won't be able to reach you! From here, you can charge up a Megastrike and hope for the best. They can still hit you with items, but the easiest way to counter this is to make sure they don't have any items when you start the trick. Don't sweat it too much if they have bananas or mushrooms, as they can't hit you with those unless they place them with extreme precision (like with five bananas).

Burn, Baby, Burn! (Bowser's Fire Storm)

This is the 'flamethrower' trick we've mentioned. It's pretty straightforward and can be super useful, but it really depends on the positioning of the opposing team. When you get Bowser's Fire Storm, hold down the 'C' button to unleash a continuous stream of flame. If you spin around while doing this, you'll create a flame wheel effect. You might catch all the opposing players, or you might hit some of your own teammates. It's a risky strategy, but it can be a lifesaver when you're surrounded or trying to clear out a crowded area.
