Your Green Hell Part 35 walkthrough continues! Learn how to defeat Goldo and Rollie, navigate the Royal Halls, and survive the treacherous Ruborian Desert.
Alright, let's dive into Part 35 of our Green Hell adventure. We've got a couple of distinct areas to cover here: the Royal Halls and the Ruborian Desert. It's going to get a little hairy, so stick close!
Royal Halls:
First off, head to the Royal Halls. You'll find it across the bridge from the brewery's back exit. As you get close, you'll notice the elves are in a panic because their women are trapped in the stronghold. Our main goal here isn't saving elves, though – it's taking down Goldo. So, we'll need to fight our way in.
As you enter, kill the initial dwarves and then send some blue minions across the water to turn a wheel. This will open the way forward. Cross the bridge and deal with the dwarves emerging from the door.
Once inside, look to your left up on a platform – there's a sack of cash waiting for you. Grab it! Clear out any other dwarves in the area and loot everything you can. Keep an eye out, because a flamethrower dwarf will appear back near the entrance. Take him down.
Now, head up the stairs to the right of the entrance. You'll get an update on your other minions who hitched a ride in the Mother Goddess Statue. Continue along the path until you reach stairs leading down to the main door. Before you go too far down, be aware of a flamethrower dwarf coming up, along with a few other regular dwarves. It's a good idea to lure the regular ones away and take them out first, then focus on the flamethrower. Once he's down, head through the door.
Inside the Royal Halls proper, brace yourself. As you move forward, you'll encounter three flamethrower dwarves. Seriously, watch out! When they explode, debris rains down and can crush you, so keep your distance. After you deal with them, some crossbow dwarves will show up – take them out.
Before moving on, there's a room to your left (if you're facing away from the entrance) that holds loot and another large sack of cash. It's crucial to grab this now and bring it back, or you'll lose it forever! With that secured, proceed through the door opposite the entrance.
This next room is a hub: you'll find a waypoint, a blood pit, a mana pit, and all four spawning pits. Use these to your advantage if you need to replenish your minions. Then, enter the next room.
Here you'll see Goldo. He'll run into a door and seal it behind him. When you try to follow, he'll reappear with Rollie! These two aren't too tough if you play it smart. Keep your minions in a corner behind a pillar so they don't get hit by Rollie's attacks. Target Goldo and strafe around to his back, landing a few hits. When Rollie starts to turn, reposition and hit him. Once Goldo is at about half health, a short cutscene will play, and you'll be able to finish him off. Keep up this strategy, and they'll go down. Hit Goldo one last time, and he'll explode.
Head into the next room for a cutscene. The place is about to collapse! You'll have a choice: save the gold or the elves. Obviously, we're going for the gold! (There's a brown spawning pit here if you're out of minions). Have them grab the gold, and then get out of there!
As you exit the stronghold, Gnarl will have some information for you. Head back to your tower.
Ruborian Desert:
Now, use the new warp from your tower to reach the Ruborian Desert. Ugh, this place. If you head straight across the water, you'll find a treasure chest. Going left from the waypoint gate, you'll find thick bones blocking your path – we'll need to blow those up later. So, for now, head right, taking out any raiders you encounter.
There's a small hill to your right with some loot on it. Head up there, then cross the bone bridge. To your left, you'll see a raider heading across the sand, only to be eaten by a worm. There's a tower object across the sand, but leave it for now.
We need to cross this sandy area to get to the next section. It's best to put away all your minions before crossing, or a lot of them will get eaten by the worms. Once you're safely across, you'll spot a blaster bug. Attacking it will cause it to explode and respawn. To your right is an alcove with a brown spawning pit – grab a minion.
As you head further down the path, you'll see some eggs. Have a minion grab an egg and lure the blaster bug over to the sand you just crossed. When the sand starts rumbling, have your minion quickly run back. The worm will emerge to eat the bug, explode, and damage the worm. It takes two blaster bugs to kill the worm, so repeat the process.
With the worm dead, you can now cross this patch of sand without any worries! Grab the tower object and return it to your waypoint to get the last mana object. Head back to where the blaster bugs were. You'll see more bone barriers. Use an egg to lure the bugs to these barriers, then hit them a few times. Once their health is low, run away and...
