Head to the Kimono Room. Near the stairs, DOOR WOMAN appears. Check the closet for HERBAL MEDICINE.

In the Kimono Room, photograph CRYING WOMAN near the mirror. A Woman Brushing ghost attacks; defeat it with Type 14 film to get the DIANTHUS KEY. (Note: If you don't defeat her, you forfeit the key, but it's not essential for game completion or the alternate ending).

Exit to the Closet Hallway and use the DIANTHUS KEY on the small door downstairs.

In the Well Room, photograph the well for an undeveloped photo and take the STONE MIRROR if needed.

(Second Playthrough Only) For the extra ending, go to the Stairs Hallway 2F. Move the dresser blocking the back door and cross the roof to the next door.

(Second Playthrough Only) In the Closed Tamami Room, grab PURPLE DIARY 4. Photograph CRYING WOMAN behind you. Find TYPE ZERO FILM in the dresser. Stand on the cushion and aim at the mirror stand to photograph SECRET GHOST #2 KYOKA KUZE. Enter the Hearth Room via the floor panel.

(Second Playthrough Only) In the Hearth Room, defeat the Woman Brushing ghost to obtain HOLLY KEY and UPGRADED LENS "PIERCE". Return to the Kimono Room.

(Second Playthrough Only) Use the HOLLY KEY on the mirror stand drawer in the Kimono Room to find LEGEND OF SONG 3, KEI LOOKALIKE photo, and KYOKA'S EARRING. Exit to the Garden Corridor.

In the Garden Corridor, photograph CORRIDOR WOMAN crawling under the floor near the railing. Save your game and collect any nearby items. Enter the double doors to the Shrine Courtyard.

In the Shrine Courtyard, you'll receive a file on THE PURIFYING LIGHT. This mechanic requires finding purifying light pickups to prevent the screen from turning monochrome, which spawns more dangerous ghosts like The Tattooed Priestess.

Photograph SECRET GHOST #25 BURDENED MAN near the fenced grave. Collect TYPE ZERO FILM and HERBAL MEDICINE nearby.

Photograph SECRET GHOST #24 BATTERED MAN in the wreckage of the collapsed building on the right.

As you pass under the shrine gate, photograph MAN ON ROOF as he appears above. Collect SACRED WATER on the ground by the west side stairs.

Unlock the west side door and enter the Book Storeroom.

In the Book Storeroom, photograph PEERING GIRL when she appears above the wreckage on the right to obtain the PINWHEEL KEY. Go upstairs and through the back door.

Follow the Crimson Butterfly down the Dirt Floor Hallway into the Hearth Room.

Upstairs in the Hearth Room, follow the 2ND FLOOR TWINS into their room. Avoid the Kimono Room as The Tattooed Priestess is present.

In the Twins' Room, TWINS' CEREMONY appears. Photograph the figure on the chest to reveal SECRET GHOST #18 BINDING MAN.

At the door, solve the pinwheel puzzle to unlock the side door.
