Walkthrough:

Hanging Prison

Exit the cage and proceed through the double doors.

Garden Corridor

A girl will appear on each side of the hallway. Photograph the two BOWING GIRLS and attempt to go through the door at the back. A Hidden Face Man will appear behind you and attack. Back up and wait for his shutter chance, which appears late in his first slash. Type 14 film is recommended. He drops a MAN IN CORRIDOR photo. Save your game. Return to the Stained Corridor via the Barred Hallway and Projection Room to collect HERBAL MEDICINE and TYPE 14 FILM, respectively.

Round Window Foyer

Before entering the Grave Courtyard, stand in the middle of the Round Window Foyer and aim your camera at the Graveyard entrance. Move the camera up to the paper windows at the top and take a picture to reveal Secret Ghost #6 Handmaiden (Hisame).

Stained Corridor

Walk to the right side (west) and photograph the DISAPPEARING MAN. Examine the section of the wall opposite the hand that looks different to reveal a door.

Sacrificial Pillar Room

Photograph the DETERMINED MAN to remove the doll sealing the door in the Garden Corridor. Find a MAP WITH MARK and EQUIPMENT "SWITCH" w/file on the wooden floor at the back. Leave the room.

Stained Corridor

Go through the small door on the east side to collect HERBAL MEDICINE. Optionally, return to the Foyer. Ensure your camera is well-upgraded before proceeding. Alternatively, return to the Room With Blind in the Stairs Hallway and retrieve CALICO NOTEBOOK 2 from under the sheets. A Kuze Family Head will attack after you collect the notebook.

Partitioned Room (optional)

(This section is only accessible if you photographed the undeveloped photo of Yoshino on Hour VI in the Partitioned Room.)

Save your game in the Stairs Hallway 1F. Photograph the DISTRESSED WOMAN through the sliding doors in the middle of the room. She only appears if you photographed the glowing area on your last night with Rei.

Foyer (optional)

Equip your most powerful film and camera. As you descend the main hall, Stroller Grandma will charge. Wait for her shutter chances as she dashes. If she gets past you, run to the other end of the hall and wait for her to charge again. If she kills you, she will disappear. Upon defeating her, you will receive the "NOTCHED ARROW" KEY. Use it to unlock the barred area near the exit and enter the next room.

Secret Passage (optional)

Proceed down the passage. A STONE MIRROR is located near the door at the end.

Partitioned Room (optional)

Yoshino will attack. Focus on her to prevent shadows from respawning. She drops YOSHINO'S PHOTO and EQUIPMENT "MEASURE" w/file.

Hall With Tatami

Collect the nightly TYPE 14 FILM from the area with the two Kimonos. Enter the Rope Hallway and proceed to the Rope Palace.

Rope Palace

Photograph the stone platform in the middle for an undeveloped photo. Return to the Rope Hallway, saving in the Foyer beforehand. A ghost can be missed if you are not prepared.

(You must photograph the platform in the Rope Palace for the ghost in the Rope Hallway to appear.)

Rope Hallway

As you walk down the hall, enter finder view and aim at the small window near the ceiling at the back. Midway through the hall, photograph the FALLING WOMAN as she falls from above. She will then attack. After defeating the Rope Priestess, go to the Great Hall and enter the Futon Room at the end.

Futon Room

Open the closet door and quickly photograph TRAPPED WOMAN. Crawling Woman is more dangerous in open areas. Keep your camera aimed at the floor and photograph her as she dashes towards you. She drops an undeveloped photo.
