Trapped (Recruit Wogan)

The mission marker for Wogan is in the far eastern part of Oros. It is advised to have the Tame Wildcats skill, as you will have the opportunity to tame a jaguar during this mission. You may also encounter a cave lion en route, which also requires the Tame Wildcats skill. Traveling during daylight can help minimize dangerous encounters.

On your way to Wogan's marker, you will pass the Stone Watch and Roaring Falls Bonfires, and the lightly defended Kapal Outpost. Activating these will provide fast travel points, resupply and rest stations, and generate XP. Completing Wenja events as they appear also grants XP and can increase village population.

Follow the game trail to Wogan's marker. The path leads to an elevated walkway under a rock arch, which enters a cave. Alternatively, you can climb a long vine from the riverbank.

After dropping into a grotto, Wogan will greet you. Light the debris on the floor to reveal a gap, then drop into the water.

Follow the blood trail into the cavern and be prepared to encounter a jaguar. If you have the Tame Wildcats skill, this is a good opportunity to tame it. Loot any scattered corpses.

Continue following the blood trail to a dead jaguar. Take the grappling hook from its corpse; it will become a permanent part of your gear.

Backtrack to the grotto and grapple up using the grapple point above the bird painting. Follow the blood trail. Burn the brush blocking a niche to find a stash.

Grapple and swing across a gap. Use another grapple point above a deep chasm to lower yourself through a narrow gap until you see a lighted passage. Swing towards this passage and detach into it to avoid the jaguars below.

Killing the jaguars is optional, but you can easily spear or shoot them from the safety of the ledge. Collecting their skins is beneficial.

Use another grapple point in the lighted passage to reach a ledge. Use a further grapple point to enter a chimney, where you can transfer the grapple to reach an exit point and complete the first part of the task.

To complete Wogan's recruitment, go to his cave. Swim left from where you exited the cave to reach the shore. A dirt path leads to a long vine climb that circles around to Wogan's cave.

Wogan will join your village, but he needs you to find special stones called the Blood of Oros for crafting.
