    Make your way to the marker in the far north to find Ethan. He will grant you passage north by giving you the sacrament.

    After drinking the sacrament, you will be transported north. A bow and unlimited fire arrows are available on a nearby table; taking them is optional but recommended.

    Pilot the boat north, following the markers. Bliss clouds will begin to drain your health, but medkits can restore it.

    Follow the torch-lit path. Beyond a howling wolf, use a fire arrow to light the pyre at the marker on the knoll.

    The waterway ahead is blocked by a barrier. Dock the boat, follow the torch-lit trail, cross the bridge, and find the lever near the waterwheel to open a portal.

    Return to the boat and continue through the opened gap. Follow the markers along the torch-lit waterway.

    Equip your bow and use a fire arrow to light the pyre atop the crag at the marker.

    The bliss will gather again, thicker this time. Shoot the next pyre at the marker to dispel it.

    Battle your way to the river marker, clamber down the cliff, and operate the lever on the waterwheel. Dislodge debris jamming the wheel.

    Return to your boat and continue north past the torches. Heal if necessary.

    Use your bow to ignite the pyre high atop the crag. This will dispel the bliss and complete the voyage. The mission marker for _Joseph's Secret_ will be generated.

  • Taking the provided bow and unlimited fire arrows can make lighting pyres easier. Ensure you have your own bow and a good supply of fire arrows if you choose not to take theirs.
  • Before heading up the path to find Joseph after the bliss clears, backtrack to find the camera for the mission _A Thousand Words_ on the rocks east of the river. Stand on the AMR logo and look north toward the Sanctuary to match the photo. This earns a Perk Point, and if it's the final photo, five additional Perk Points.
