The Ritual (Part 1)

Upon entering Oakfield, you can explore the area. A woodcutting job and a side quest involving a sculptor are available.

When ready, make your way up the path on the hill near the water wheel.

Continue along the worn path. Grab the silver key sitting in plain sight near the path.

Keep going up the hill and to the left to find the Temple of Light.

Enter the temple to trigger a scene.

After the scene, the abbot will explain that he does not trust you with an important job without knowing if you are up to the task. You will need to return to town and complete a few tasks to build up your reputation as a hero before he will trust you with his mission.

Return to town and pick up a quest to boost your renown.
