    After returning to the guild, speak with the others.

    Go to the Cow & Corset Inn in Bowerstone Marketplace.

    Go upstairs and talk to Jeeves in one of the rooms.

    Jeeves has stolen Lucien’s diary and will sell its location for 1,000 gold pieces. If you do not have enough, sell unneeded items, gamble, or take a job until you earn the gold.

    Pay Jeeves the 1,000 gold pieces to receive a map to the diary's location.

    Travel to Bower Lake and head towards the large hill with the Guild Cullis Gate on top.

    The diary is buried on the side of the hill opposite the lake.

    As you approach the burial spot, you will be attacked by a troll.

    To damage the troll, wait for small worm/grub-like creatures to appear on its body. These are its weak spots.

    Use a ranged weapon to shoot these grubs until they disappear. A troll typically has 8 to 10 grubs.

    Once the troll is defeated, it will sink into the ground.

    Follow the dog to the location of the diary and dig it up.
