Congratulations, Aethernaut! You've successfully navigated the treacherous realms of Aether and confronted the encroaching Void. But the journey doesn't end with the credits rolling. Dreams of Aether offers a wealth of post-game content designed to challenge even the most seasoned players, uncover hidden lore, and reward your dedication with powerful gear and unique cosmetics.

New Game+ (Aether's Echo)

Upon completing the main story, you unlock New Game+, dubbed "Aether's Echo." This mode allows you to restart the game with all your acquired abilities, weapons, and armor, but with a significant twist: the enemies are tougher, their attack patterns are more aggressive, and new enemy variants appear in familiar locations. Furthermore, certain boss encounters feature additional phases or modified mechanics.

• Unlocks: After defeating the final boss, the Void Weaver.
• Retained Progress: All unlocked skills, weapon upgrades, armor sets, and collected Artifacts carry over. Consumables are reset.
• New Challenges:
  • Void-Infused Enemies: Standard enemies now have a chance to spawn as "Void-Infused" variants, boasting increased health, damage, and often a unique elemental resistance or weakness.
  • Boss Rematches (Corrupted Forms): Major bosses like the Gravewarden of Eldoria and the Sky Serpent of Aeridor gain new "Corrupted" forms with expanded move sets and higher difficulty. Defeating them in this mode grants rare crafting materials like Void Shards and Pure Aetherium Ingots.
  • Increased Drop Rates: Rare item drop rates are slightly increased across the board, making it easier to farm for specific legendary gear.

The Shifting Labyrinth

Deep within the Sunken City of Atlantis, a new portal opens after the main story concludes, leading to The Shifting Labyrinth. This procedurally generated dungeon offers endless replayability and increasingly difficult encounters. Each run through the Labyrinth is unique, with randomized enemy placements, trap layouts, and treasure room locations.

• Location: Sunken City of Atlantis, accessible via a newly opened portal near the central plaza (coordinates: X: 345, Y: 112, Z: -50).
• Objective: Delve as deep as possible, defeat the Labyrinth's Guardian, and escape with your loot.
• Rewards:
  • Aetheric Cores: A new currency exclusive to The Shifting Labyrinth, used to purchase unique legendary weapons and armor from the Labyrinth Vendor, "Xylos," located at the Labyrinth's entrance.
  • Labyrinthine Relics: Rare artifacts that provide powerful temporary buffs within the Labyrinth or can be exchanged for large sums of Aetheric Cores.
  • Exclusive Armor Sets: The Labyrinth Weaver and Voidwalker armor sets can only be acquired by defeating the Labyrinth's Guardian on higher difficulty tiers.
• Strategies:
  • Adaptability is Key: Due to the procedural generation, be prepared to adjust your build and tactics on the fly. Prioritize versatile weapons and abilities.
  • Resource Management: Health and mana regeneration items are scarce. Use your consumables wisely.
  • Scout Ahead: Utilize your scouting abilities (e.g., "Aetheric Sense") to detect traps and enemy patrols before engaging.

Legendary Hunts (The Apex Predators)

The world of Aether still holds secrets and formidable beasts that were too powerful to confront during your initial journey. After completing the main story, speak with the Hunter's Guild Master, Kaelen Stonehand, in the Skywatch Citadel. He will offer you a series of Legendary Hunts, pitting you against unique, super-boss versions of existing creatures, each with enhanced abilities and devastating attacks.

• Quest Giver: Kaelen Stonehand, Skywatch Citadel (coordinates: X: 120, Y: 450, Z: 200).
• Hunt Targets:
  • The Obsidian Drake: Found in the Volcanic Wastes. Immune to fire, weak to ice. Drops the Drake's Heartstone, a component for the legendary weapon, Ignis Blade.
  • The Spectral Leviathan: Lurks in the depths of the Sunken City of Atlantis. Highly resistant to physical damage, vulnerable to arcane attacks. Drops the Leviathan's Scale, required for the Tidal Aegis shield.
  • The Stormcaller Phoenix: Soars above the Aeridorian Peaks. Manipulates lightning and wind. Drops the Phoenix Feather, essential for crafting the Tempest Bow.
• Rewards: Each successful hunt grants unique legendary crafting materials, allowing you to forge some of the most powerful weapons and armor in the game. You also earn significant amounts of experience and gold.
• Preparation: These hunts are not for the faint of heart. Ensure your gear is fully upgraded, your skill tree is optimized, and you have a generous supply of high-tier consumables. Consider bringing a friend for co-op on these particularly challenging encounters.

Collecting All Artifacts and Lore Fragments

For the completionists and lore enthusiasts, the post-game is the perfect time to track down any remaining Ancient Artifacts and Lore Fragments. These collectibles often reveal deeper insights into the history of Aether, its inhabitants, and the true nature of the Void.

• Artifacts: There are 100 Ancient Artifacts scattered across all regions. Collecting all of them unlocks the "Archivist" achievement and grants access to the Chamber of Whispers in the Elderwood Forest, revealing a secret cutscene and a unique cosmetic armor set, the Aether-Touched Garb.
• Lore Fragments: Over 200 Lore Fragments provide narrative snippets. Collecting all of them unlocks a comprehensive in-game codex entry detailing the complete history of Aether and a bonus skill point.
• Tracking Progress: Check your in-game journal under the "Collections" tab to see which Artifacts and Lore Fragments you are missing and in which regions they are located.
