Dream Aether, often simply called Aether, is the fundamental, primordial energy of the universe. It is an undetectable and perfect energy, with no waste or manifestation, theoretically allowing anything to be possible if used correctly. The Oracle Bracelet constantly absorbs and stores Aether from the atmosphere, and can also compress it from dead bodies into its purest form. However, absorbing uncompressed Aether directly from a dead body is dangerous, as it contains the deceased's memories, experiences, and feelings.

The density of Aether increases with the number of spiritual creatures in an area, creating a cycle where more Aether leads to more evolved creatures, and vice versa. Civilizations eventually detect and utilize Aether as they advance. Aether follows specific laws: it is attracted to itself, spins inward when in a centrifugal motion, and atmospheric Aether is instantly replenished and maintains its density.

According to 'Novice Aether Manipulation,' Aether originates the universe and is infinite. Its density influences the probability of energy and matter generation, potentially leading to Big Bangs and new Seed Worlds. Aether density constantly increases due to its infinite source, its attraction to existing Aether (especially around powerful beings), and its attraction to brain activity, thoughts, and dreams, suggesting solidified souls might be mini-Aether sources.

To be used, Dream Aether must be encoded by the Oracle Bracelet into energy for enhancing attributes like Strength, Agility, Constitution, Vitality, Intelligence, and Perception. The cost of encoding varies with volume; larger volumes are more expensive. Each body has an Aether capacity limit, comparable to a bottle filling with liquid. Exceeding this limit can be detrimental.

Encoding has different grades. Grade 1 Aether is like a gas, Grade 2 like a liquid, and Grade 3 like a solid. Each higher grade allows the body to hold significantly more Aether and incorporate passive properties similar to Aether Skills. While the Oracle provides 7 free Grade 1 primary Encodings, higher grades and functions are costly, available from the Oracle Store. For example, Grade 2 Strength Encoding costs 1,000 credits.

The Oracle assigns colors to different encoded energies for simplicity: Red for Strength, Orange for Agility, Yellow for Constitution, Green for Vitality, Cyan for Intelligence, and Indigo for Perception. The Oracle device uses more Aether to encode each energy type based on its color.
