    To defeat Foo Yung and Chow Mein, start with the Hero attacking, Borya casting Accelerate, Kiryl casting Kabuff for 2-3 turns, and Ragnar attacking.

    Cast Sap with Borya, and Oomph on the Hero and Ragnar.

    If Foo Yung spits cold/hot breath or Chow Mein throws a boulder, use omniheal (a healing spell).

    Once Foo Yung is defeated, Chow Mein will be easier to handle.

    After defeating them, a rare flower will bloom on top of the Yggdrasil Tree in El Florado Village.

    Jump into the hole behind your fallen foes to return to Azimuth.

    Travel to El Florado and climb the Yggdrasil Tree to obtain the [YGGDRASIL FLOWER].

    Zoom to Rosehill Village and go to Rose's tomb near the white yeti monster.

    Use the Yggdrasil Flower to resurrect Rose and have her join your party.

    Travel to Heaven's Haven and go through the castle to find Psaro.

    Let Rose talk to Psaro to have him join your party as a playable character.
Tips
  • Psaro already knows several spells and will learn more as he levels up. Some of his spells do not cost MP (magic points) to cast.
  • Your party is now complete with Psaro's recruitment.
  • There is still a boss named Aamon to defeat. Bring Psaro along for this fight.
  • Psaro knows many spells and does not take damage from equipping cured items.

    Exchange your collected Mini Medals for rewards.

  • There are over 60 Mini Medals in Dragon Quest IV.
