Boss Showdown: Psaro the Manslayer

Party: Hero, Ragnar, Meena, Alena

Your Level: 37

Difficulty: Hard

Drops: ---

Form I: Psaro primarily uses physical slashes. Have all party members attack normally, except for the one carrying the Sage's Stone, who should use it every turn to maintain HP. Psaro's arm will be removed.

Form II: Continue normal attacks. Consider using the Hero's "Omniheal" at the start to restore full HP. Psaro's second arm will be removed.

Form III: Psaro shifts to multi-target attacks that deal less damage. If Psaro buffs himself (e.g., increases DEF), use the Zenithian Sword as an item to remove the effect. Revive fallen allies with "Zing" (known by Hero, Meena, and Kiryl). Psaro's head will detach.

Form IV: Psaro uses elemental attacks from a new head on his belly. Cast Meena's "Insulatle" to mitigate damage. Continue attacking and healing with the Sage's Stone. If Psaro removes "Insulatle", recast it. Psaro will grow hands from his ears.

Form V: Maintain the "Insulatle" spell and use the Sage's Stone every turn. Psaro will grow feet.

Form VI: No significant changes. Continue the established strategy. Psaro's attacks remain similar in damage. He will then gain devil horns and a new head.

Form VII: The final form. Ensure "Insulatle" is active.

Tips
  • The Sage's Stone is crucial for healing the entire party without consuming MP throughout the battle.
  • Ensure someone in your party (like Meena) carries the Sage's Stone and uses it regularly.
  • Use the "Zing" spell to revive fallen party members.
  • The "Insulatle" spell is vital for reducing elemental damage, especially in later forms.
  • Conserve MP, as it is not restored between Psaro's forms.
