Erdrick's Hollow

Explore Erdrick's Hollow in dragon quest i and ii hd 2d remake. Find 56 gold, Leather Shield, Sandstorm Scroll, Divine Dagger, and Dragon Scale on B1, and 314 gold, Magic Water, Medicinal Herb x2, 103 gold, Mini Medal (1/40), and Chimaera Wing on B2.

You’ll encounter some duplicitous would-be heroes when you enter Erdrick’s Hollow, but fortunately they’re not serious rivals. They don’t challenge you for any treasure.

Erdrick’s Hollow - B1 Treasure

There are 5 treasures in Erdrick’s Hollow - B1. In a barrel along the northern edge of the map, you can find 56 gold coins. In a chest in the northeastern corner is a Leather Shield. In a chest in a dead-end hallway in the center-west of the map is the Sandstorm Scroll, which can blind your opponents and make it harder for them to hit you with melee attacks. In a chest along the southern edge of the map is the Divine Dagger; if you didn’t buy it earlier, keep it on the hero, as it’s a decent early-game weapon that’ll deal extra damage against undead. In a chest along the eastern edge of the map, just opposite (north of) the stairs leading to Erdrick’s Hollow - B2, you’ll find a Dragon Scale.

After you get all the treasure, find the stairs down in the southeastern corner of the map.

Erdrick’s Hollow - B2 Treasure

The treasure you really want to walk away with here is the Mini Medal (1/40), as the rewards for finding all of these are really quite good. The southwesternmost room with a sleeping slime contains the majority of this level’s 6 treasures. From the stairs to Erdrick’s Hollow - B1, head west, north, then west past a fork to the south. When you can’t go west any further, turn north to find the chest containing 314 gold coins. In the southwesternmost chamber (with the sleeping slime), you’ll find three pots in the corner; the Magic Water is in the westernmost pot, and Medicinal Herb x2 is in the center pot. The easternmost pot contains 103 gold coins. In the southwesternmost chamber (with the sleeping slime), you’ll find a chest in the southwestern corner of the room to score what is likely your first Mini Medal (1/40). From the southwestern room, follow a hallway north, then east to find a chest in a small cubby to the south containing a Chimaera Wing.

Worm your way to the north-center of the level and inspect the grave to trigger a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically), which fulfills your obligations here.
