Instead of going back to the main hall, head straight downstairs and enter the vent duct near the vending machine on your left hand [EXPLORER 200 XP]. Go down the ladder to find [200 CREDITS] and a [POCKET SECRETARY] with information on what appears to be a drug deal. Neuropozyne is a drug that prevents augmentations from being rejected by the human body, a common issue known as "Rejection Syndrome".

Meet with Pritchard in the tech lab on the second floor; he will inform you that it will take some time [1000 XP]. If you took a nonlethal approach earlier, Pritchard will call you Gandhi. Read [Hugh Darrow eBook 3: The Nature of Neuroplasticity].

Check the shelves in a closet next to the pinboard to find a [NUKE VIRUS SOFTWARE] and [STOP WORM SOFTWARE].

Meet Sarif in his Penthouse using the designated elevator. He will ask you to investigate the suicide terrorist, who has been moved to the police department, and to visit the L.I.M.B. clinic. This quest concludes [1000 XP]. Speak with Athene, Sarif’s secretary, and return to the main hall. You will receive a page to go to your office, initiating the first of many optional Side Quests.

The first sidequest (S1: PAGING ADAM JENSEN) is very short and ends upon reaching your office on the third floor in the main hall, granting a small reward (COMPLETIONIST 100 XP). Meet Tim Carella in your office and accept the quest after exhausting all dialogue options. S2: LESSER EVILS will then become available.

Jensen’s office contains a bottle of [WINE] and a [POCKET SECRETARY] with his computer login: ajensen/mandrake.

An email from Athene Margoulis contains two access codes. She suspects someone is stealing Neuropozyne and names suspects, asking you to investigate.

An email from Greg Thorpe, Josie Thorpe’s husband, may also be present, asking you to visit his apartment, which activates sidequest 3, One Good Turn Deserves Another.

Investigate Denzel Mitchell’s office (number 31), across from your own. It is secured by a level 2 keypad. You can use the code or hack the system for a [GREY HAT 50 XP] bonus, which may require the HACKING: CAPTURE 2 augmentation.

Inside Mitchell’s office, find an Ebook (Global Politics Review [2026 Edition]), a [CYBERBOOST PROENERGY BAR], [184 CREDITS], and a [POCKET SECRETARY] containing a code for Mika Pine’s office (4145). Check the PC emails for background information.

Head to the second floor and enter the office on your right (Lyle Rogers and Gale Bergama). The PC contains background information.

Next, enter office 23 (Will Rosellini’s and Walt Cannon’s office). Use the code from your email (3716) or hack the level 2 device for a [GREY HAT 50 XP] bonus.

One desk drawer contains [53 CREDITS], and an Ebook (The Next Three Decades) is on a small table. Another desk drawer contains [25 CREDITS]. The PC contains emails regarding the Neuropozyne theft and provides another keycode (9642) for Ted Bruger’s office.

Office 25 is Mika Pine’s office. You can hack it or use the code 4145 obtained earlier.

Office 27 (Diane Gonzalez’ and Nouella Cock’s office) has the code 4145. Hacking also grants [GREY HAT 50 XP].

Inside office 27, find [Hugh Darrow eBook 4: The Neural Hub - Design For a Next Generation], a bottle of [WHISKEY], and [118 CREDITS] in the desk drawer. The PC contains background information. A vent duct leads to Mike Pine’s office [TRAVELER 100 XP].

This office contains [115 CREDITS], [Hugh Darrow eBook 5: The Tyranny of Biology], a [CYBER-BOOST PROENERGY BAR], and an additional [126 CREDITS] in the drawer. Read the emails on the PC. You can backtrack through the vent to hack the keypad on the other side of the door.

Continue exploring the second floor: Office 20 (Jerry Maher and Dorrie Harris) contains nothing of interest. Office 22 (Faridah Malik) has a high security level of 4 and will be skipped.
