Power Level is a crucial statistic in Destiny 2 that determines your Guardian's effectiveness in combat. Higher Power Levels grant you increased damage output and damage resistance against enemies. It is essential for tackling more challenging activities and progressing through the game.

How Power Level Works:

• Your overall Power Level is an average of the Power Levels of all your equipped gear, including weapons and armor.
• Higher Power Level gear drops from more challenging activities and higher-difficulty settings.
• Legendary and Exotic gear generally have higher Power Levels than Rare or Uncommon gear.

Increasing Your Power Level:

• Complete daily and weekly bounties and challenges for various NPCs.
• Participate in Public Events and Lost Sectors.
• Engage in endgame activities like Strikes, Nightfalls, Raids, and Crucible matches.
• Focus on acquiring powerful gear drops from specific sources that are marked as 'Powerful Gear' or 'Pinnacle Gear' opportunities.

Gear and Power:

• Weapons contribute to your Power Level based on their individual Power.
• Armor pieces (Helmet, Gauntlets, Chest Armor, Leg Armor, Class Item) also contribute to your Power Level.
• Artifact mods can temporarily increase your Power Level beyond the soft cap, but this increase is lost at the start of the next season.
