How to Beat Raid Boss: Atheon, Time's Conflux (Vault of Glass)

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Atheon is vulnerable to sustained damage, especially from Power weapons and Supers.
• He teleports Guardians to the past or future, requiring split team roles.
• Weaknesses: Precision hits, coordinated heavy weapon fire.

Phases:

1. Teleportation: Atheon teleports half the fireteam to either the Past (Mars) or Future (Venus). The remaining team stays in the Present.
2. Oracle Management: In the Past/Future, Guardians must destroy Oracles in the correct order to prevent Atheon from becoming too powerful. A Guardian is marked with the 'Mark of the Void' and must be detained by another Guardian to prevent them from wiping the team.
3. Damage Phase: Once Oracles are cleared and the Marked Guardian is detained, the team must deal as much damage as possible to Atheon before he teleports again or wipes the team.
4. Templar's Well: If the team is in the Past, they must navigate the Templar's Well. If in the Future, they must navigate the Confluxes.
5. Return to Present: Guardians are eventually returned to the Present, where the entire team must coordinate damage.

Strategy:

• Team Roles: Designate specific roles: Oracle killers, detainers, and damage dealers.
• Communication: Constant callouts are crucial for Oracle order, detainment, and Atheon's location.
• Loadouts: Equip weapons that provide sustained damage (e.g., Machine Guns, Rocket Launchers) and Supers that can be used frequently.
• Past/Future Team: This team needs to quickly identify and destroy Oracles in sequence. The detainee must be identified and detained immediately.
• Present Team: This team must defend the portal and be ready to engage Atheon when the other team returns. They may need to clear adds.
• Damage: During the damage phase, focus all fire on Atheon. Use Supers and heavy ammo efficiently.
• Survival: Prioritize staying alive. Reviving fallen teammates is important, but not at the cost of the entire team's survival.
