Serpent Mage

This guide focuses on achievements related to the Serpent Temple in Curse of the Dead Gods. It details how to defeat key bosses and unlock various in-game accomplishments.

Achievements:

• Avidity: Defeat the Dark Avatar of the Serpent. Requires reaching the final level of the Serpent Temple and beating its boss.
• Awareness: Defeat Xucat', the Witch. Xucat' is the first Champion encountered in the Serpent Temple.
• Depravity: Defeat Ratyapu, the Abomination. Ratyapu can be found in the second level of the Serpent Temple onwards.

General Progression Achievements:

• Belief: Unlock a Blessing of the Dead Gods. Obtain Crystal Skulls, return to the hub, and purchase a Blessing from the 'Blessings' tab.
• Clairvoyance: Complete any exploration with 50 or more Perception. Collect relics, weapons, and go through attribute rooms to reach 50 Perception. Using Sich'al's Treasures blessings can help.
• Collection: Unlock 20 Forsaken Weapons. Collect Jade Rings by defeating Champions or Bosses and use them to purchase Forsaken Weapons from the 'upgrades' menu.
• Cruelty: Defeat the Dark Avatar of the Jaguar. Requires reaching the last level of the Jaguar Temple and beating its boss.
• Curiosity: Start a "Special Events". These can be selected from the same place you access the temple, at the bottom of the map.
• Diligence: Complete 10 different "Special Events". New events appear as you complete them. Dying or leaving midway fails the event.
• Essay: Write 5 Bestiary entries. Entries are written as you beat certain amounts of the same enemy. Repeating levels helps achieve this faster.
• Exhumation: Unlock 5 Forsaken Weapons. Similar to Collection, requires Jade Rings earned from Champions or Bosses.
• Devotion: Unlock 20 Blessings of the Dead Gods.
