Start by building a Sherman tank and upgrading the BAR rifle for your infantry.

Use snipers to scout the area. Be cautious of the motorcycle unit near the first bridge.

Capture the high ammo point adjacent to your base. Maintaining at least +40 ammo is crucial for easier gameplay.

Consider using Airborne units: drop three squads, get the recoiless upgrade, and use them to destroy tanks. Utilize supply drops as needed. Alternatively, an infantry-focused approach with Rangers supported by a halftrack can be effective against convoys, though it takes longer.

To maximize casualties against the Axis, observe their convoy patterns. Engage with an upgraded Halftrack, your starting Wolverine, and your Sherman tank. Support these heavy vehicles with infantry and have an engineer accompany them to perform repairs. Repeat this process for most convoys. Avoid venturing north until Axis defenses are cleared, as it's risky for heavy vehicles.

Gradually capture the bridge, advancing from bottom to top. The Germans will retreat. To earn the Medal of Honor, keep the front line open until you reach 80-90% of your quota. Monitor AI allies as they capture points.

A general strategy involves using two squads of rifle infantry to capture points and bridges, while your Rangers and heavy vehicles (tanks/halftrack) intercept convoys. If rifle squads are pinned or in trouble, withdraw them and use a Sherman for support. By now, you should have two Shermans that can take turns in combat.

If you have spare ammo, use your sniper to conduct a bombing run on the Axis base in the top-left area. Do this after reaching about 60% of your quota to ensure there are still enemies to engage if you're aiming for the medal.

Watch for red flares, indicating Axis artillery barrages. Move your units out of the affected area immediately.

After closing the pocket, you'll return to the map screen. Defend against the Axis final counterattack, which will involve numerous Panzers. Consolidate your surviving forces and engage them individually. If they group up, use bombers for a decisive strike. Once the Panzers are destroyed, the mission is complete.
