Complete the UP 'N' DOWN DESERT stage in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. Learn how to find all three Diamonds and the Power Star.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Diamond #1 (First Instance): Head west and press the first P-Switch. Grab an enemy from the ground and toss it to clear it. Then, grab the lone leaf it was guarding to obtain Diamond #1.
  2. 2
Diamond #1 (Second Instance): Head north from the starting area. Grab an enemy from the ground, turn left, and loop around towards a plateau-like flat area. Press the P-Switch to raise the wall, connecting two sides of the formation, allowing you to grab Diamond #1.
  3. 3
Diamond #2: Drop down to the east and lower the walls by pressing a P-Switch. Hop onto the long, Tetris-like reverse S-shape wall and weave your way to the very end where a P-Switch is located. Grab an enemy, then use the right P-Switch to lower the formation, then raise it again. Make your way to the P-Switch at the end of the wall to lower it, allowing you to enter a lower path below the Power Star.
  4. 4
Diamond #3: Raise the wall using the P-Switch next to an enemy. Follow the ramp and press both P-Switches to have the wall raise, allowing you to grab a mole enemy from higher ground. Chuck the mole enemy at Diamond #3.
  5. 5
Power Star: After collecting Diamond #3, turn left and follow the path to the Power Star.

Stamp: Use switches 8 times to clear!

Stamp Walkthrough: Lower the walls, then head north from the starting area. Turn left and grab the mole enemy. Head onto the S-shaped wall. Use the trick to enter the lower path, then use the same trick again to cross over to the side with the Power Star. (Follow the main guide, but do not collect Diamond #2 if you are confused).

Tips
  • Remember to use P-Switches to manipulate the walls to create paths.
  • Enemies can be grabbed from the ground and tossed.
  • The camera can be turned to get a better view of the stage.
