Discover all item pickups in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, including Regular Treasure, Gems, Nuke, Lightning Bolt, and Keys.

Regular Treasure

Regular Treasure items, such as silver and gold bars, medallions, and coins, provide varying point values that incrementally increase your score multiplier. Specific point values include: Silver Single Bars (25 points), Silver Three Bars (50 points), Gold Single Bar (75 points), Gold Three Bars (100 points), Jester Mask (150 points), Turtle (250 points), and Gold Coin (500 points).

Gems

Gems, available in small, medium, and large sizes, significantly boost your multiplier more than standard treasure. Larger gems offer a greater multiplier increase. They can be found in bonus stages, eggs, or when enemies are absorbed by a Vortex item pickup.

Nuke

The Nuke appears as a golden bomb on the (minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen)) and eliminates all enemies on screen, except for wardens and bosses. You begin the game with one Nuke and can carry a maximum of 9 at a time. Use it when escape seems impossible, especially on higher rounds. Using a Nuke grants 3 seconds of invincibility. If you have 9 Nukes, you must use one before picking up another.

Lightning Bolt

Also known as speed boosts, Lightning Bolts appear as lightning bolts on the (minimap) and allow you to dash through enemies. You start with two and can carry up to 9. They can be used to eliminate groups of enemies or escape pursuit. If you use all your bolts in a round, you will start the next round with one additional bolt. If you have 9 bolts, you must use one before picking up another.

Key

Keys are crucial, especially early in the game before reaching the Room of Fate. They unlock doors, treasure chests, present boxes in Weston's Trading Post, and the blue altar before the Room of Fate. In solo play, up to 3 Keys can be traded for extra lives when you have zero lives remaining. You receive one Key for free at the start. It is strongly advised to use Keys only for unlocking doors blocking the path to the Room of Fate. Afterward, they can be used for score multipliers and extra lives.

Chicken

A flying Chicken hovers near you, firing the same weapon you currently have equipped. It appears as a miniature chicken on the (minimap). Acquiring multiple Chickens can lead to powerful attacks. When its duration is ending, the Chicken hovers and rotates for about 5 seconds, firing your equipped weapon. The Chicken's duration is doubled for players who acquire the Fate of Friendship.

Tesla Ball

Tesla Balls are rotating electric orbs that damage any enemy they touch. They appear as golden orbs on the (minimap) and can eliminate multiple zombies in close proximity or touching each other. You can pick up multiple Tesla Balls for increased protection.

Sentry Gun

The Sentry Gun is an automated machine gun with power comparable to the Death Machine. It cannot be destroyed by enemies and appears as a sentry gun on the (minimap). It is ideal for providing (cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects)) fire, particularly in solo mode, but its firing rate is inconsistent, so do not rely on it entirely.

Monkey Bomb

The Monkey Bomb is a toy that attracts all zombies with its cymbal beat before exploding, killing nearby enemies. It appears as a monkey on the (minimap). This item is highly effective against large swarms on higher levels. However, if a zombie is closer to you than the Monkey Bomb, it will still target you. The Monkey Bomb plays a musical tune in addition to chiming. Avoid shooting zombies attracted to an active Monkey Bomb; focus on other threats or lure them towards the bomb.

Teddy Bear

The Teddy Bear designates any enemy that makes contact with it using a colorful (reticle) and causes them to turn away in fear. This item does not grant invincibility; you can still be killed if you pursue an enemy that has turned away from the Teddy Bear.

Barrels

Barrels rotate around the player, creating a barrier that kills anything they hit. They are effective against large swarms, allowing you to create an escape path. When they expire, they fly off and can incidentally kill enemies, though these kills are unpredictable.

Boots

Boots grant the player double their normal movement speed. If you have acquired the Furious Feet perk from the Room of Fate, do not pick up any Boots; leave them for teammates.

Tank

The Tank is a land vehicle that can run over any enemy except bosses and fires explosive rounds.
