Ensure the platform controlled by the switch is in its left-most position. This directs the purple enemy towards the exit door area.

Go to the exit door area and defeat the enemy if it has already arrived.

Climb the ladder to the left of the exit door.

Wait on the top platform until you see the enemy.

Drop down and position yourself so the enemy will bounce on your head as it drops into the pit with the door.

Immediately rewind time to when you were standing on the top platform. Your shadow (a past version of yourself) will drop down and wait for the enemy to bounce off its head.

While on the top platform, jump across the gap, bouncing on the enemy as it bounces off your shadow's head.

This maneuver will give you enough air to land on the far platform containing the puzzle piece, which is located above the exit door.
