Walkthrough

After running on "air" (a platform that appears solid but is not), you will reach a small platform with a pit. Jump over the pit.

Run and jump as fast as you can across the loose slabs that make up the ceiling, as they are falling down. Continue until you reach the end with some ledges.

Climb to the top of the ledges to find the level door.

Jump to the right to find the switch.

Jaffar's theme song will play. You are separated from Jaffar by two loose slabs. Run past them to engage Jaffar in a swordfight.

Remember Fatso from Level Six: Jaffar's attacks are similar. He will counter all your attacks, and you must counter all his attacks to win.

When you strike, mash the UP and SHIFT buttons repeatedly to engage him in a long swordfight.

Upon defeating Jaffar, the whole screen flashes white, and a remixed version of the guard-killing song plays. The level door automatically opens, and you can enter.

Tips

There is a shortcut available by climbing the ledge on the right, continuing up the right flank instead of running left past the spikes. At the end, take one careful step left, turn around, and hop 3 times. The slab above should fall. Climb up and go right. This shortcut saves 4-5 seconds.
