    To activate Megahit mode (a form of debug mode), start your Blue Prince game from the DOS prompt using the command PRINCE MEGAHIT.

    If the above command does not work, for versions of the game higher than 1.3, use the command PRINCE IMPROVED instead.

Megahit Mode Commands:

  • Shift+W: Puts you in LBP (Little Prince) mode.
  • Shift+S: Heals one life bullet; only works when injured.
  • Shift+T: Adds one life bullet to your life and heals all injuries.
  • Shift+L: Skips the current level, regardless of your location, without reducing your time. This can even skip the security confirmation level.
  • Shift++ (Shift and Plus button): Adds one minute to your in-game time with each press.
  • Shift+B: Shows only animated objects; all other elements turn black.
  • Shift+C: Displays your current position on the screen.
  • Shift+I: Inverts the screen colors. Press again to revert to normal, and repeat to toggle between inverted and normal views.
  • U: Scrolls the view one screen up. Press repeatedly to move further upwards.
  • N: Scrolls the view one screen down. Press repeatedly to move further downwards.
  • H: Scrolls the view one screen left. Press repeatedly to move further left.
  • J: Scrolls the view one screen right. Press repeatedly to move further right.
  • K: Instantly kills an opponent. Trying to kill the skeleton in Level 3 may cause the game to crash.
  • R: Reanimates the Prince. Press when dead to revive instantly, no matter the damage taken or how you were killed.
  • C: Displays programming code.
  • - (Minus button): Decreases your in-game time.
Tips
  • A specific glitch can be initiated in Megahit mode by dying at a corner on the right side of a wall, ensuring your body is hidden from sight when you die. Then, press 'R' to glitch the game and access a glitch stage. Level 3 is recommended for this, specifically at the extreme left end of the level. Climb up, kill yourself at the extreme left end, press 'R', and observe the result.
  • The maximum amount of life bullets you can achieve is 9. To reach 10, you must merge with the Shadow.
  • When running and jumping onto a wall, it is possible to lose a single health bullet even from a single-storey drop.
  • Falling two stories in Neutral mode results in losing one bullet of life, while falling two stories in En Guarde mode results in instant death.
  • If a guard falls from two stories, they die instantly.
  • Dropping a loose slab on a guard results in the guard escaping unharmed.
  • If a guard is struck from behind, they die instantly.
  • During a swordfight with a guard, time slows down for gates, cutters, and other moving objects.
  • The music in the game uses a leitmotif approach, with themes associated with specific characters or ideas like the Prince, Princess, Jaffar, Danger, Sword, Death, Time, and Magic. There are also different types of death and winning music.
  • The Prince demo has a level that exists but cannot be unlocked via normal gameplay.
