New Playable Students & Recruitment Banners

Each major update introduces new students, expanding your tactical options and adding to the vibrant cast of characters. Keep an eye on the in-game announcements for specific banner durations and student spotlights. While specific students change with each update, the mechanics of their introduction remain consistent.

• Featured Students: Typically, one or two new students are introduced, often with unique EX Skills or passive abilities that can shake up the meta. These students are usually 3-star rarities. For illustrative purposes, here are examples of students introduced in past updates:
  • Mika (3-Star, Explosive Striker): A powerhouse student from Trinity General School. Her EX Skill, "I'll Show You My True Power!", deals immense damage to a single enemy and grants her a significant ATK buff. Her Sub Skill, "Princess's Protection," provides a shield when her HP falls below a certain threshold, enhancing her survivability. Mika excels in Total Assault against bosses with Explosive weakness, such as Perorodzilla and Kaiten FX Mk.0.
  • Himari (Casual) (3-Star, Mystic Supporter): A variant of Himari from Millennium Science School, dressed in casual attire. Her EX Skill, "Let's Enjoy the Day Off!", targets a single ally, significantly boosting their ATK and reducing their EX Skill cost for a duration. Her Passive Skill, "Casual Day's Wisdom," increases the ATK of all allies. Himari (Casual) is a top-tier support for Mystic damage teams, particularly effective in raids like Chesed and Hieronymus.
  • Miyako (Swimsuit) (3-Star, Piercing Striker): A seasonal variant of Miyako from SRT Special Academy. Her EX Skill, "Rabbit of the Summer Sea!", deals Piercing damage to enemies in a circular area and applies a DEF debuff. Her Sub Skill, "Summer Training," increases her own ATK. Miyako (Swimsuit) is a strong choice for Piercing damage teams, especially useful in Total Assault against enemies like Shiro & Kuro.

• Recruitment Banners: New students are usually featured on limited-time "Pick-Up Recruitment" banners. These banners offer an increased chance to acquire the featured student.
  • Spark System (Ceiling): Remember the spark system! If you perform 200 pulls on a single banner without acquiring the featured student, you can exchange 200 Recruitment Points for that student. This guarantees you can obtain the featured student if you save enough Pyroxene. Recruitment Points are specific to each banner and reset once the banner ends.
  • Free Pulls/Tickets: Occasionally, events or login bonuses provide free 10-pull tickets or single recruitment tickets. Always check your mail and event pages for these valuable opportunities. These tickets are often specific to the current Pick-Up banner or a general recruitment pool.
• Strategic Considerations for New Students:
  • Team Synergy: Evaluate how new students fit into your existing teams for various content (Total Assault, Joint Firing Drill, PvP). Do they synergize well with popular existing students like Kotama, Ako, or Iroha? Consider their armor type, attack type, and role (Striker/Special).
  • Role Fulfillment: Consider if they fill gaps in your roster (e.g., a strong Mystic tank, a reliable Explosive healer) or significantly enhance a specific damage type or role you're lacking. For instance, a new student might introduce a unique crowd control ability or a powerful buff that is currently missing from your top teams.
  • Meta Impact: Research community tier lists and guides to understand their potential impact on the current meta, especially for high-difficulty content. Early analysis often emerges shortly after a student's release.
  • Skill Investment: Prioritize skill upgrades for new students based on their utility. For damage dealers, EX Skill and Passive are often key. For supporters, EX Skill and Sub Skill can be crucial.
