To even get a shot at Chaos Mode, you'll need to beat the game five times first. Once you've done that, you can head over to the Vending Machine in the Developer's Room and buy the Chaotic Key. It'll set you back a hefty 999999G, so start saving those pennies! Now, here's a little trick: even if you haven't cleared the game five times yet, you can still snag the Chaotic Key from a treasure chest if you've got the 999999G. Once you've got it, you'll see the option to enable Chaos Mode when you start a new game. Chaos Mode also brings in something called Surplus Fate Energy.
