How to Beat Corrupted Scribe

Defeat Absolum's Corrupted Scribe in the Archives. Interrupt its Blight Nova AoE attack and manage spectral minions to overcome this powerful Blighted Scholar.

Location: Archives - Restricted Section (End of 'The Fallen Architect' quest)

Description: A powerful Blighted Scholar, capable of casting devastating area-of-effect spells and summoning spectral minions. Frail but dangerous.

Phases & Attacks:

• Phase 1 (100%-50% Health):
  • Blight Nova: Charges a large AoE blast around itself. Indicated by a growing purple circle on the ground.
  • Spectral Barrage: Fires a volley of homing projectiles. Can be dodged or blocked.
  • Summon Spectral Thralls: Summons 2-3 weak melee minions to distract you.
• Phase 2 (Under 50% Health):
  • Gains 'Corrupted Beam': A channeled, high-damage beam attack that tracks your movement.
  • Summons more Spectral Thralls and occasionally a 'Spectral Watcher.'
  • Casts Blight Nova more frequently.

Weaknesses & Strategy:

The Corrupted Scribe is vulnerable to physical damage. Melee Vanguards should use 'Shield Bash' to interrupt its spell casts and stay aggressive, focusing on high burst damage. Shadows should maintain distance, using bows to target the Scribe while dodging its attacks, and use 'Shadow Step' to reposition. Mystics can use 'Arcane Shield' for protection and focus on high-damage single-target spells like 'Firebolt,' saving AoE for the summoned minions. Always prioritize dodging Blight Nova and dispatching summoned enemies quickly. The Corrupted Beam in Phase 2 requires constant movement to avoid.
