Chapter 2 Substories

Zombie Rights

Partner Allowed

At the south end of Nakamichi Street across the street from Don Quijote, you'll see three men with donation boxes yelling about the zombies. Talk to one of them and he'll say he's an activist for zombie rights in a group called Code Red and they're fighting for equal rights for zombies. He asks you to donate, so select "Sure, why not?" (top option) and select "Will ¥10,000 do the trick?" (bottom option) and the man will show you their group in action (your reward changes depending on how much you donate. ¥100 gets you ¥20,000, ¥500 gets you ¥60,000, and ¥10,000 gets you the reward listed at the end). They yell at the SDF and the chairman of the group, named Jones, arrives. He talks to the activist, Masaru, and Kiryu about the charitable donation and Jones says the group is heading into the Quarantine Zone to save the zombies (uh oh) and Kiryu brings up the people fighting for their lives in there and how the zombies are obviously not willing to talk it out. Jones leaves disappointed in Kiryu so it's probably a good idea to find them on the other side of the wall. Once you enter the Quarantine Zone, you'll see Masaru with a "STOP KILLING" sign who tells Kiryu not to shoot the zombies and he tells Kiryu that the zombies won't attack activists. He's immediately proven wrong so kill the zombies to save him and give him a change of heart about them. Masaru says about 20 activists are out in the Quarantine Zone and that it's difficult to pull them out since sponsors all over the world have put a ton of money into the group. He says Jones is doing an interview near the Oriental Building with (group members who look like) zombies for PR to trick people into thinking the zombies are intelligent. Head to the Oriental Building east of Gelateria Kamurocho and at the entrance Kiryu will note an alternate entrance since burning cars block the entrance. Select "Yeah." (bottom option) and you'll enter into the restaurant and you'll see employees dressed as zombies like Masaru said. Head over to Jones at the table and you'll see him interviewing a "zombie" asking for sympathy. Suddenly some real zombies show up and put Jones in his place so make the undead re-dead and Masaru will show up and tell you Code Red is done for, giving you an Eye of the Dragon for your help.

  2. Select "Sure, why not?" (top option).
  3. Select "Will ¥10,000 do the trick?" (bottom option).

In the alley just south of Smile Burger, you'll see a Kamurocho Crimson Shield member bickering with some SDF soldiers about going into the Quarantine Zone. Select "Go talk to Akaishi." (bottom option) and Akaishi will tell Kiryu about how the SDF refuse to let people in to the Quarantine Zone to rescue others. Select "Help him." (bottom option) and Kiryu offers his aid and Akaishi says he'll contact you with information. After some walking, you'll get a call from Akaishi saying some people are trapped in front of Kamurocho Hills, so head in there to save them. You'll find the group southwest of the entrance to Kamurocho Hills and when you get close to them, select "Help them now." (bottom option) when you're ready. Suddenly some zombies show up so kill them and escort them back to the gate. You'll head back to Akaishi who says two members are still unaccounted for and he gives you a Super Coolant for your help.

Finish The Lost Shield Part 1. After waiting a few minutes in the safe zone, you'll get a call from Akaishi about the missing members who are by the Gelateria and he asks if he can come along. Kiryu denies him and says he needs to be there in case there are others he hasn't heard from who need help. You'll see the group of people right in front of the ammo truck north of Gelateria Kamurocho, so approach them and select "Help them now." (bottom option). He says Akaishi went into the Quarantine Zone alone after hearing about someone being stuck near Theater Square, so head there. You'll see Akaishi and some people grouped up together, so approach them and select "Help them now." (bottom option) and some zombies appear. Akaishi decides it's a smart idea to distract them, so escort the others back and worry about him later. When you get close to the gate, Kiryu will stop and some more zombies will appear, so he tells the people to hurry to the safe zone. Survive un
