Navigate the Crawsus Forest Ruins in Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. Find items like the Golden Egg and Silver Mail, defeat enemies, and uncover Sealed Stones.

After obtaining the Blue Formation-Sealing Vessel, you'll have 3 slots for Sealed Stones. Head right to find a Golden Egg and the Book of Alchemy. The Sealed Stone here is the EXP-Coveting Tapir's Reason, which contributes to 100% treasure and map completion. Return to Crell Monferaigne and speak to the Resident in the Inn, choosing the second dialogue option to receive the Sage's Secret Herb.

Proceed left to a Spring, then continue left. Use an enemy to reach a higher ledge containing a Healer's Secret Herb and the Sealed Stone Earthly Protection. Heading west triggers a scene and allows you to save your game. You can also go up from here. Save your game, then proceed upwards.

Examine the left end for a Silver Greave, then move up. You'll find an Altar to the left. Continue left to the end of the path to face a large enemy, which will yield the Sealed Stone Muddy Reason. A Flawless Amulet is also found in a bag. Afterward, go south to a new area. The right chest contains a trap but also a Lightning Avoid Amulet. To the left, you'll find a sword icon, indicating more Einferia. Use an enemy to ascend to a platform with a Healer's Secret Herb and the Illusionary Clothes Mirage Robe; the chest here also contains a trap. Proceed south to another area. To the right is an Elixir, which can be obtained by using an airborne enemy. At the far left, there's an Altar and a trapped chest containing a Silver Mail. You can now backtrack to the area with the save point.

From the save point area, go south. To the right, a trapped chest in the water holds a Pulverize Amulet. To the left, there are three paths. The two leftmost paths lead to a Silver Helm, Dwarf's Sacred Herb, and a sword/Einferia. Afterward, head south.

Go right to find a Holy Gem and an Altar with the Sealed Stone Thunder's Protection. At the far left, defeat an enemy to obtain the Sealed Stone Thunder Cloud's Reason. You'll also find a Union Plum here, contributing to 100% treasure completion.

Return to the save point area and save your game. Ensure you place any three Sealed Stones on the northern, western, and southern Altars. Crucially, do not place the Sealed Stone Muddy Reason or Thunder's Protection on any Altar, and do not bring the Sealed Stone Wall's Protection with you. With these conditions met, the west bridge in the save point area will lower, allowing you to proceed west to the boss fight.

Equip characters with Weak Check and Poison Check. For weapons, choose those that enable Soul Crash or have a 3-hit combo. Skills like Regeneration Heal and Guts are recommended. If aiming for Break Mode, ensure you've broken enough parts on the side enemies before engaging the boss.

Lure the Hydra onto land, circle around it, and perform four Soul Crushes. Its normal attacks are manageable, so healing isn't constantly required. Be wary of its Poison Breath; cure it with Alicia's Ordinary Shave or a Gold & Silver Flower's Dew if you lack the skill. Poison Check negates this threat. Maintain high HP as the Hydra has other powerful attacks like Dark Breath and Eternal Pain, which significantly deplete HP and can inflict Weaken. Weaken prevents HP recovery, so Weak Check is highly beneficial. If you don't have Weak Check, dash away to recover. An Izun's Apple can cure Weaken. Navigating the terrain can be difficult due to the land and water environment, but dashing is always an option. The Hydra will continue to attack.
