So, you've made it through Chapter 4 and are ready to tackle some optional content. After beating the main story beats and making sure you've grabbed some sweet gear like the Dragon Armor, Day Moon Stone, and Golden Egg, you'll want to backtrack a bit. Before you use that Day Moon Stone at the statue, remember this is your absolute last chance to wrap up the Chateau Obsession quest and snag the Cat's Ring, Bird's Ring, and Dog's Ring. It's also a great time to get Aluze and Leone up to Level 40 if you haven't already. Trust me, hitting that level cap with them before they leave is super important!

Once you're all set, use the Day Moon Stone at the statue and head west. You'll see a scene, and then Aluze and Leone will depart. If you managed to get them both to Level 40, you'll be rewarded with some seriously awesome weapons: the Dragon Slayer Modified, Bahamut Tear, Splitting Sword Farewell, and Valkyrie Favor. On top of that, you'll snag Swordsman's Knowledge and Heavy Soldier's Knowledge. After all that, you'll have 100% map completion for this area and can grab the Uroboro Symbol and two Wiser's EXP before heading back to the World Map.

Now, let's talk about Chapter 4, specifically Optional #4: The Gods' Assault. Head over to Kalstad and chat with the chicken on the east side to nab a Golden Egg. Then, make your way to Villnore. You can pick up Lily from the Flower Girl for 10 OTH – it works just like the Tiny Flower item. After that, go to Crell Monferaigne and exit to trigger a scene. In Coriander, poke around the first Villager House to find a Core Emerald.

Back in Villnore, find a Resident chilling near the Bar. Talk to them and pick the first dialogue option. Now, it's time to head back to the Turgen Mine. At the very end of the mine, you'll find the Gigant Wasp waiting for you. It’s basically a souped-up Queen Wasp, so be prepared!

Alright, for this fight, you'll want to set the Sealed Stone Karma Flame's Reason at an Altar beforehand. Definitely bring the Sealed Stone Life Spirit's Protection with you too. As for your weapons, prioritize those that allow Soul Crash or grant 3 Attacks. If you managed to snag those four awesome weapons from Aluze and Leone (Dragon Slayer Modified, Bahamut Tear, Splitting Sword Farewell, and Valkyrie Favor), this fight will be a breeze. For skills, make sure you have Toughness and First Aid equipped. And for accessories, slap on a Heal Ring or a Metabolizer. Seriously, combining Life Spirit's Protection, First Aid, and either the Metabolizer or Heal Ring will make you nearly invincible!

If you're aiming for Break Mode, make sure you've broken enough parts on the side enemies before you even get to the Gigant Wasp. As you navigate the arena, take out any Meteoric Swarm and Leaf Beetle Eggs first. You can damage the Meteoric Swarm with magic, and it's even better if you have the Ghost Buster skill equipped. Once they're dealt with, focus on the Gigant Wasp. It's pretty much a tougher version of the Queen Wasp. Just keep hammering away at it and use Soul Crush whenever you get the chance. Don't forget, you can always circle around it to recover AP before going back on the offensive. Try to focus on breaking one part at a time to trigger Break Mode.

Warning: When you see green mist swirling around the Gigant Wasp, it's about to use Vary Omega. This attack can deal massive damage or even wipe out your party if you get caught. Immediately dash behind a pillar or retreat to the back room to avoid it. If you're safely hidden, the attack won't hit you. Once it's over, get back to attacking and try to defeat it before it can unleash Vary Omega again. Keep repeating this pattern, and you'll take it down. It's much easier if you can consistently avoid its Vary Omega attack.
