The Whispering Relic

Quest Giver: Old Man Kage, located in the back alley of the Central District - East Sector, near the abandoned clock tower.

Walkthrough:

1. Initiate Quest: Speak with Old Man Kage. He will lament the loss of a "Whispering Relic" that he believes holds significant power. He'll task you with retrieving it from the Forgotten Catacombs.
2. Locate the Catacombs: The entrance to the Forgotten Catacombs is discreetly hidden behind a crumbling wall in the Industrial Zone - Lower Levels. Look for a faint blue glow emanating from a crack in the masonry.
3. Navigate the Catacombs:
   • Upon entering, you'll face several Shadow Lurkers. These enemies are weak to Light-element attacks.
   • Proceed through the main corridor until you reach a junction. Take the left path. The right path leads to a dead end with a minor treasure chest containing Vitality Potion x2.
   • In the left path, you'll encounter a puzzle involving three pressure plates. The correct sequence is Middle, Left, Right. Activating them in the wrong order will summon a group of Ghastly Apparitions.
   • Once the puzzle is solved, a hidden door will open, revealing a small chamber.
4. Retrieve the Relic: Inside the chamber, you'll find the Whispering Relic resting on a pedestal. As you approach, a mini-boss, the Spectral Guardian, will emerge.
   • Strategy for Spectral Guardian: This enemy is highly resistant to physical damage. Focus on using EX Moves and elemental attacks, particularly those with a Fire or Electric affinity. Its main attack is a slow, wide-arc swing; dodge through it and counter-attack.
5. Return to Kage: After defeating the Spectral Guardian and acquiring the Whispering Relic, return to Old Man Kage in the Central District. He will thank you profusely and bestow your rewards.

The Collector's Conundrum

Quest Giver: Eccentric Merchant, found wandering the Commercial District - Grand Bazaar during nighttime hours (in-game time). He wears a distinctive purple cloak.

Walkthrough:

1. Initiate Quest: Approach the Eccentric Merchant. He will express his desire to complete a collection of rare "Void Shards" and asks for your assistance in finding three specific types.
2. Gather Void Shards:
   • Crimson Void Shard: This shard is dropped by the Blazing Horror enemy type, which can be found exclusively in the Volcanic Caverns - Deep Core. These enemies are tough; consider bringing Water or Ice elemental attacks. The drop rate is moderate, so you might need to defeat a few.
   • Azure Void Shard: Located in the Sunken City - Abyssal Trench. You'll need to defeat the Leviathan Spawn, a recurring aquatic enemy. The shard is a guaranteed drop from the first Leviathan Spawn you defeat after accepting the quest.
   • Verdant Void Shard: This shard is not a drop. Instead, it's hidden within a secret grove in the Verdant Sanctuary - Whispering Woods. Look for a cluster of glowing mushrooms near the waterfall; interact with them to reveal a hidden path leading to the shard.
3. Return to the Merchant: Once you have all three Void Shards, find the Eccentric Merchant again in the Commercial District. Present him with the shards to complete his collection and receive your well-deserved rewards.
