Walkthrough
  1. 1
Head down the stairs and pick up the small medipack (264) that is right in your path. At the bottom of the stairs, you'll arrive in a courtyard with 2 palm trees. Go clockwise and through the arched opening just in front of the second palm tree.
  2. 2
In the next small courtyard is a boarded-up entrance. Shoot the boards and go through the entrance. Head left (south) through the opening by the metal cage and down the stairs.
  3. 3
Trophy Time -- I Hate It When These Things Do That!: In front of the stairs on the left is a sarcophagus. Walk near it to spring a fake mummy and earn this ridiculously easy Trophy.
  4. 4
Go east up the stairs behind the fake mummy. Shoot out another boarded-up entrance, then Save at the top of the stairs. (NG+1701)
  5. 5
From the bottom of the stairs, make a standing jump south (towards the mirror). Now you have a safe path all the way south to the mirror.
  6. 6
Rotate left, make a standing jump east over the spike pit next to the mirror, then run to the corner to get the crossbow.
  7. 7
Coming back is just slightly tougher. Since you're right next to the mirror, it's pretty easy to locate the spike pit you need to jump over. Turn around to face west and head towards the pit. Stand a ways back from the east edge of the pit before making your standing jump west. If you start too close to the edge, you'll get spiked.
  8. 8
Use the mirror to center yourself east-to-west on the path back to the stairs. Head north towards the stairs but again, don't get too close to the pit before making your standing jump back to the stairs with your new Crossbow (265).
  9. 9
Exit the mirror room and go SW to go back down the stairs. Go diagonal right (NW) past the pyramid, stand at the top of the ramp, and Save. (NG+1702)
  10. 10
Trophy Time -- Godspeed: Slide down the ramp onto a hinged platform across from a range with 9 targets. You have 20 seconds in which to break all 9 targets. If you fail to do so, the platform gives way, and you fall onto the deadly spikes below. To earn the Trophy, you must break all 9 targets with regular (i.e., not exploding) ammo within 20 seconds.
  11. 11
Drop to the (now safe) ground, go forward, and pick up the Token (266) from the floor. Then use the raised crawl space in the middle of the south wall to return to the room with the pyramid. Continue straight up the ramp and the stairs, go left, and enter the second doorway on the right (the first doorway, you will recall, is the Mirror Room).
  12. 12
Use your Token in the slot in front of the mechanical snake charmer.
Tips
  • You will encounter 7 kills in this level: 4 black scorpions and 3 skeletons.
  • Skeletons require at least FIVE hits with exploding ammo to be defeated in New Game+.
  • Combine your LaserScope with the Crossbow and choose Normal Ammo for it.
  • Crossbow Tutorial: Look button switches to LaserScope view; Duck/Crouch button zooms in; Sprint button zooms out; Up/Down/Left/Right aims crossbow. Observe that Up and Down may work backwards from what you would expect, i.e., Up aims lower and Down aims higher.
  • To earn the Godspeed Trophy, you can shoot between a pair of targets on the right (i.e., aim at the white circles above) to break them both with one shot.
