Introduction: The Story So Far
It's the year 2003. The NSA, facing threats hidden by sophisticated digital encryption, has launched Third Echelon. This initiative revives classic espionage techniques, boosted by advanced surveillance and combat tech for aggressive data collection in hostile areas. When traditional methods fail, Third Echelon can conduct physical operations. Operating in secrecy, Third Echelon deploys Splinter Cells: elite operatives supported by remote teams. They're small, sharp, and nearly invisible.
On March 10, 2004, the CIA reported a loss of contact with Agent Alison Madison in Georgia, who was monitoring communication disruptions. A second operative, Agent Blaustein, was sent to T'bilisi to find her, but then...

Mission Walkthrough: Grinko's Driver
The mission begins on a rooftop. Rappel down the wall using the chimney. Enter through a window and crouch. Wait for a guard to inspect the bookshelf, then neutralize him. Shoot out the camera above the door. Use the computer, then proceed through the door and right. In the next area, use L3 to peek around the corner. Eliminate the approaching guard with a headshot to avoid setting off the alarm. Neutralize the second guard in the room and hide both bodies in a dark corner. Proceed through the door on your left into a stairwell. Use night vision to reach the top floor and find a medical kit. Descend the stairs, shooting out cameras on every second landing. You will pass a checkpoint at the bottom.
In the car park, shoot out the camera on the wall. Hide behind a blue car and shoot out another camera. Locate Hamlet. It is recommended to sneak up on him and grab him when he is urinating in the corner. Interrogate Hamlet to learn about Grinko's meeting with Philip Masse. Knock Hamlet out and hide his body in a dark corner.
Return to the room with the two guards. Shoot out the camera above the door. Enter the room, use the two computers, and then use the vent to proceed. You will reach a save point.
Mission Walkthrough: The Courtyard Laser Grid
Activate night vision to navigate the ducts. Follow the vent until you reach a grate overlooking a chef. Continue to the end and drop into a cold area. Approach the door cautiously. Wait for a guard to enter and speak with the chef. Once the guard leaves and the door closes, sneak in and knock out the chef. Open the door and neutralize the guard, or sneak up on him. Hide the guard's body in the dark cafeteria. Proceed past where the guard was to the stairs. Ignore the guards asking for a colonel and continue down the stairs.
At the bottom, you will find two sets of stairs in a dark area. Take the left set. Midway down, shoot the guard standing below. If you miss, the alarm will sound. The other guard will investigate the body; neutralize him. If you miss the first shot, return to the top of the stairs, and the second guard will come to you. Hide both bodies under the stairs. Avoid the area with chairs and double doors to prevent setting off an alarm. Use the com...
