Adventurous

• You can go on Adventures at the Forest or Dock.
• Possible to get Injured if Focus (a game mechanic indicating a Sim's current mental state) is low.
• Discuss Adventures (friendly social).
• Share Stories (romantic social).

Chivalrous

• Develops romances faster.
• Rejects romantic socials if in a relationship.
• Ending a relationship gives a big negative focus debuff.
• Good Deed buff for donating.

Creative Cook

• Able to cook meals faster.
• Can eat gruel and get a positive focus buff.
• No real drawbacks.

Dedicated

• Get three Responsibilities (tasks a Sim must complete) a day instead of two.
• Have to complete all three Responsibilities.
• The extra Responsibility can result in an extra focus buff or debuff.

Earthy

• Focus buff for being outside.
• Higher chance of finding rare resources.
• Focus debuff for being inside.
• Likes to wear earth colors (brown and green).

Eloquent

• Gets more positive socials.
• No drawbacks.
• Give Inspirational Speech to buff nearby Sims (non-player characters) with the Inspired buff.

Evil

• Focus buff for being around unhappy Sims.
• Incompatible with the Good trait.
• Focus buff for getting sick or injured.

Excitable

• Focus buff for winning any type of competition.
• No drawbacks.
• Focus buff for cooking with ingredients.

Friendly

• Develops friendships faster.
• No drawbacks.
• Incompatible with the Misanthrope and Cruel Fatal Flaws.

Fun-Loving

• Get a Focus buff for competing, playing games.
• No drawbacks.

Good

• Focus buff for being nice, comforting other Sims, or donating.
• Can't use negative socials.
• Incompatible with Evil trait.

Greedy

• Focus buff for making a lot of money.
• Focus debuff for not having a lot of money.
• Can borrow money from other Sims.

Haggler

• Discounts at the Village Shoppe.
• Haggling with Greedy Sims results in a Focus debuff.

Hopeful Orphan

• Focus buff for using Talk About Parents social.
• No drawbacks.

Jokester

• Develop relationships faster using Funny socials.
• No drawbacks.
• Using the Joke About social results in a focus buff.

Loves Family

• Easier to socialize with family members.
• No drawbacks.
• Focus buff for using family socials.

Scholarly

• Randomly get a Focus buff for looking at objects.
• No drawbacks.
• Positive buff for reading a book.

Solitary

• Slower to develop relationships.
• Focus buff for being alone.
• Focus debuff for being around too many Sims.
• Focus buff for going on a solo quest.

Unkempt

• Focus buff for being Unkempt and eating spoiled food.
• Slower to develop/maintain relationships.
• Prefer to sleep on the floor instead of a bed.

Vain

• Focus boost for looking in a mirror.
• Focus buff for complimenting another Vain Sim.
• Extra socials.

Whale Ate My Parents

• Can go on a Whale Hunt, need whaling boat and harpoon.
• A successful whale hunt adds whale meat.
• Focus debuff for not going on periodic whale hunts.
• Needed to get a Legendary Trait from a quest.
