Master all Ambitions in The Sims Medieval! Learn how to earn Gold or Platinum medals to unlock new ambitions and expand your kingdom with this comprehensive guide.

Ambitions are the overarching goals for each Kingdom in The Sims Medieval. Initially, only the 'New Beginnings' Ambition is available. Earning a Gold or Platinum medal for completing an Ambition unlocks a new one, sometimes requiring the completion of two previous Ambitions.

Ambitions are completed by spending all of your Quest Points (QP). A quick method to deplete QP is to start a quest and immediately abandon it.

Upon completing an Ambition, you have four options:

  1. Abandon the Kingdom and start a new Ambition.
  2. Play the 'Free Time' quest, an open-ended sandbox mode without Quests or Responsibilities.
  3. Play 'Free Time' with Responsibilities but no Quests.
  4. Take the 'Brave New World' quest, which allows you to carry over one Hero into a new Kingdom with a new Ambition.

01. New Beginnings (50 QP)

  • Bronze (5 QP): Village - Place 6 buildings
  • Silver (10 QP): Settlement - Place 8 buildings
  • Gold (15 QP): Castle - Place 11 buildings
  • Platinum (20 QP): Keep - Place 13 buildings

P&N. Peacemaker (40 QP)

  • Unlock: Pirates & Nobles Ambition
  • Bronze (5 QP): Pacifier - Finish 10 War Quests at Bronze & end the war
  • Silver (10 QP): Arbitrator - Finish 10 War Quests at Silver & end the war
  • Gold (15 QP): Diplomat - Finish 10 War Quests at Gold & end the war
  • Platinum (20 QP): Adjudicator - Finish 10 War Quests at Platinum & end the war

02. No Quest For the Weary (60 QP)

  • Unlock: Place 8 buildings in one Kingdom (New Beginnings)
  • Start with: Monarch + 1 Hero
  • Bronze (5 QP): Played a Bit - Bronze medal on at least 16 quests
  • Silver (10 QP): Quite Questy - Silver medal on at least 16 quests
  • Gold (15 QP): Master of the Quest - Gold medal on at least 16 quests
  • Platinum (20 QP): Epic Questor - Platinum medal on at least 16 quests

03. Imperial Domination (50 QP)

  • Unlock: Place 11 buildings in one Kingdom (New Beginnings)
  • Start with: Monarch + 1 Hero
  • Bronze (5 QP): Usurper - Annex 2 Foreign Territories
  • Silver (10 QP): Dominator - Annex 4 Foreign Territories
  • Gold (15 QP): Overlord - Annex 6 Foreign Territories
  • Platinum (20 QP): Possessor of All - Annex all Foreign Territories

04. Fame (50 QP)

  • Unlock: Annex 4 Foreign Territories (Imperial Ambition)
  • Start with: Monarch + 2 Heroes
  • Bronze (5 QP): Small Fry - Reach 200 Renown
  • Silver (10 QP): Almost Famous - Reach 350 Renown
  • Gold (15 QP): Household Name - Reach 500 Renown
  • Platinum (20 QP): I'm Going to Live Forever - Reach 700 Renown

05. Safe and Sound (40 QP)

  • Unlock: Annex 6 Foreign Territories (Imperial Ambition)
  • Start with: Monarch
  • Bronze (5 QP): Basic Protection - Have Security and Well-Being at Level 4
  • Silver (10 QP): Healthier than Most - Have Security and Well-Being at Level 8
  • Gold (15 QP): Safety in Numbers - Have Security and Well-Being at Level 10
  • Platinum (20 QP): Wealthy Fortress - Have Security and Well-Being at Level 12

06. Hard Workers (70 QP)

  • Unlock: Get Silver medal on at least 16 quests (No Quest for the Weary)
  • Start with: Monarch
  • Bronze (5 QP): No Longer Apprentices - Have 5 Heroes at Level 5
  • Silver (10 QP): Good At What I Do - Have 10 Heroes at least Level 5
  • Gold (15 QP): Professional Mastery - Have 10 Heroes at least Level 8
  • Platinum (20 QP): Best of the Best - Have 10 Heroes at least Level 10

07. Thoughts and Prayers (40 QP)

  • Unlock: Get Gold medal on at least 16 quests (No Quest for the Weary)
  • Start with: Monarch
  • Bronze (5 QP): Start of Something Big - Have Knowledge and Culture at Level 4
  • Silver (10 QP): Thinkers and Doers - Have Knowledge and Culture at Level 8
  • Gold (15 QP): Mentally Fulfilled - Have Knowledge and Culture at Level 10
  • Platinum (20 QP): Cultural Mecca - Have Knowledge and Culture at Level 12

08. Filled Coffers (60 QP)

  • Unlock: Reach 350 Renown (Fame)
  • Start with: Monarch + 1 Hero
  • Bronze (5 QP): Enough to Get By - Acquire 25,000 Simoles across all Professions
  • Silver (10 QP): A Small Fortune - 50,000 Simoles
  • Gold (15 QP): A Golden Age - 65,000 Simoles
  • Platinum (20 QP): Swimming in Gold - 80,000 Simoles

09. Legen (wait for it) dary! (60 QP)

  • Unlock: Reach 500 Renown (Fame) and Have Security and Well-Being at Level 8 (Safe and Sound)
  • Start with: Monarch + 2 Heroes
  • Bronze (5 QP): A Few Good Sims - Have 1 Sim with a Legendary Trait
  • Silver (10 QP): Twice a Hero - 2 Sims with a Legendary Trait
  • Gold (15 QP): We Are Legends - 4 Sims with a Legendary Trait
  • Platinum (20 QP): Flawless - 5 Sims with a Legendary Trait

10. Wealthy Populace (60 QP)

  • Unlock: Have 10 Sims at Profession Level 5 or above (Hard Workers)
  • Start with: Monarch
  • Bronze (5 QP): More Than Just a Living - Have 5 Sims with at least $5,000
  • Silver (10 QP): Glass Half Wealthy - 5 Sims with at least $6,500
  • Gold (15 QP): Money, Money, Money - 8 Sims with at least $6,500
  • Platinum (20 QP): Spread the Wealth - 10 Sims with at least $7,500

11. Efficient Expander (50 QP)

  • Unlock: Have Knowledge and Culture at Level 8 (Thoughts and Prayers) and Have 10 Sims at Profession Level 8 or above (Hard Workers)
  • Start with: Monarch + 1 Hero
  • Bronze (5 QP): Easy Expansion - Reach 200 Renown
  • Silver (10 QP): Expansion on a Budget - 300 Renown with at least 25 RP left
  • Gold (15 QP): Strategic Expander - 450 Renown with at least 50 RP left
