Alright, so you've stumbled upon the Sword Master challenge, huh? 14 hits in one combo sounds pretty wild, but don't sweat it. As you play through The Rogue Prince of Persia, you'll naturally get better at chaining moves and discovering new ones. This specific combo has been tested and it's your golden ticket to pulling off those 14 hits.

Here’s the sequence you’ll want to nail:

Square, Square, Square, Triangle, Square, Triangle, X, Triangle, Square, Triangle, Circle, X, Triangle, Square.

Now, pay attention here: timing is everything, especially when Elika jumps in to help. Don't just mash these buttons like a madman. You need to feel the rhythm of the fight.

Choosing the right opponent is also a huge part of this. Forget about trying this on some random grunt; they'll just get knocked down after two hits. You need a boss, and crucially, you need a big, open arena. The Warrior is a definite no-go for this. Find a good-sized arena early on if you can, and practice against a boss there. The sooner you tackle this, the better.

Here’s a pro-tip, and it's a bit of a weird one, but it’s key for this and the Combo Specialist Trophy. The very last hit of the combo needs to actually connect for it to count. If the enemy gets knocked off the edge by that final blow, it might not register. I ran into this myself – the enemy went flying off the edge right after the 14th hit, and then a Quick Time Event (QTE) popped up.

Listen closely: if you find yourself in a QTE after landing that 14th hit, you might have a choice. In my case, I was fighting the Alchemist, and the QTE gave me the option to mash Square to push him off. I chose not to, lost the QTE, and guess what? I got the Trophy right after. So, if you hit that 14-hit combo and a button-mashing QTE appears on the final hit, intentionally fail it. You might just luck into getting the Sword Master challenge completed!
