Getting the Pegasus Boots

You'll start in a room with a conveyor belt going around some pillars. There's a Pairodd on the belt, but those pillars make it hard to hit unless you're right next to it. Don't worry about the Pairodd for now; focus on the two Keese flying around. Once they're down, head for the stairs. The Pairodd will teleport away, clearing your path.

In the next room, just walk around the outside edge, going clockwise. You'll need to kill the Green Slimes that pop up. After you defeat the last couple of them in the northwest corner, a Small Key will appear. Grab it and head north through the hallway.

As soon as you enter the next room, you'll face two Spear Stalfos. After you deal with them, go to the right wall. Look for two torches and drop a bomb between them. This will blow a hole in the wall. Head through it, take out the two more Spear Stalfos down there, and then bomb the crack in the north wall. Don't go through this new hole yet – it's just a shortcut for later. We need to backtrack. Go back to the previous room and head to the west side.

You'll run into five Red Slimes, and the two doors nearby will slam shut. They'll open again once you defeat all the slimes. Take the door on the left when you're ready.

This room has two Pairodds and a few Green Slimes. Your goal here is to force the closer Pairodd to teleport, deflect its attack, and then deal with the Green Slimes. Once that's done, go to the northeast corner of the room, under the brazier. Turn left and either shoot the two Pairodds with your arrows or toss bombs at them. A Small Key will drop from the sky – grab it and go through the north door.

In the next room, defeat the Red Slimes and the Stalfos. This will cause a chest to appear on the upper walkway. Head through the northern door into the room beyond.

This next room has two Bombites and a Shield Stalfos. Grab a nearby pot and toss it at the first Bombite. Then, take cover behind the circle of pots and let the Bombite bounce around until it explodes. Do the same for the second Bombite. If the Shield Stalfos is still standing after both explosions, you'll need to take care of it yourself. Before you head up the stairs on the right, make sure to grab the 10 Bombs that appear.

At the top of the stairs, go right one screen. Look into the pit to your north. You'll see a crack on the right wall of the pit. Toss a bomb into the pit so it explodes and blows open the cracked wall.

Now, go back left one screen, and then down one screen. You should see a chest that spawned earlier when you defeated the Stalfos and Slimes. Open it to get 50 Rupees. Continue south and push the wooden block out of your way at the bottom. You can either destroy the slimes or just ignore them and go through the door to the north.

Get ready for a mini-boss fight! You'll encounter two Dodongos. The only way to hurt them is by putting a bomb in front of them, making them eat it. After they eat a bomb, it'll explode inside them. They'll be invulnerable for a bit afterward, completing four moves before they open their mouths again. Feed them another bomb when they do. They usually move in straight lines but can turn unexpectedly, especially near walls or corners. If they hit a wall, they might flip over instead of turning. Since there are two, try to alternate bombing them. Bomb one, then bomb the other while the first is invulnerable. If you run out of bombs, you'll need to leave and restock to restart the fight. Each Dodongo will drop a Fairy when defeated, so try to fill your bottle! Once they're gone, leave through the door on the right.

Head back to the room with the wooden blocks. You need to get to the chest. Go around the wooden blocks so you're approaching the chest from the right. Go as far down as you can, then push the wooden block to your left. After that, push the wooden block above you upwards. This will finally give you access to the chest containing the Pegasus Boots!
