Destroy Ganon

Conquer Calamity Ganon in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! This guide covers the final boss fight, strategies, and tips to help you save Hyrule.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Calamity Ganon: HP varies based on Divine Beasts freed. Weak to Master Sword, Ancient Arrows, and powerful elemental attacks.
• Dark Beast Ganon: Invulnerable to most attacks. Weak points appear during the fight, targeted by the Bow of Light.

Phases:

1. Calamity Ganon (Inside Hyrule Castle): Ganon manifests as a swirling mass of Malice. He uses a variety of attacks, including energy blasts, sword swipes, and elemental magic. If you've freed the Divine Beasts, they will unleash an attack at the start, significantly lowering his health.
2. Dark Beast Ganon (Hyrule Field): After defeating Calamity Ganon, he transforms into a colossal beast. You'll need to use the Bow of Light provided by Zelda to target weak points that appear on his body.

Strategy:

• Preparation is Key: Stock up on your best weapons, shields, and plenty of hearty meals or elixirs. Consider bringing Ancient Arrows for high damage against Calamity Ganon.
• Master Sword: If you have the Master Sword, it will glow and deal double damage against Ganon, making it your primary weapon.
• Dodge and Parry: Learn Ganon's attack patterns. Perfect dodges can trigger Flurry Rush, and perfect parries can deflect his projectiles.
• Use the Environment: In the first phase, use pillars for cover. In the second phase, ride your horse to quickly maneuver and aim.
• Bow of Light: For Dark Beast Ganon, you'll be given the Bow of Light. Aim for the glowing weak spots that appear. Zelda will often guide you on where to shoot.
• Final Blow: After hitting all weak points on Dark Beast Ganon, a final weak point will appear on his forehead. Shoot it with the Bow of Light to defeat him.
