Optimize your weapons in The First Descendant by focusing on mods like Max Attack and Fire Rate, and utilizing the Thunder Cage with Catalysts.

For weapons, prioritize mods that directly increase damage output. Max Attack, Fire Rate, and Crit Chance/Damage (if applicable) are essential. For weapons without an Energy Activator, their capacity is limited to 40. In this case, focus on Rifling, Action & Reaction, and Vibration Absorption. These three mods can provide a significant attack boost (around 93%) while negating recoil. After these, prioritize Fire Rate. If using an Energy Activator and Catalysts, the Thunder Cage is a strong candidate due to its farming utility.
