Walkthrough
- 1After a scene, you'll be in the Fendel Glacier Ruins. Your first priority is to take out Kurt's minions, the Dragoons. They have a nasty habit of healing Kurt, so get rid of them quickly.
- 2Once the Dragoons are dealt with, turn your attention to Kurt. He fights a lot like Hubert and Malik, with fast ranged and close-quarters attacks. His horizontal swipes are particularly dangerous, so you'll want to stay close to him.
- 3The best way to handle Kurt's attacks is to either guard them or backstep away. Once you've dodged or blocked, move in close to start your own combo attacks. This also gives you a chance to recover your CC (Combat Capacity).
- 4Kurt's weakness is Impact attacks. Make sure you're using these to exploit his vulnerability and keep the pressure on with aggressive combos.
Tips
- Kurt in 60 Seconds: To get the trophy for defeating Kurt in under 60 seconds, you'll need to be very aggressive and efficient. Focus fire on Kurt as soon as the Dragoons are down, and don't let up.
- Post-Battle: After you defeat Kurt, make sure to check his body to obtain the Platinum Bladerang.
- Key Item & Skit: Talk to everyone in the area after the fight to trigger another scene and obtain the Archive of Wisdom Key. Then, check the valkines to discover the Forbrannir and trigger the Just Ask Gramps skit.
- Moving On: Finally, take the one-way warp located outside the area to proceed to Zavhert.
