Walkthrough
- 1Target a Spiny to curl it into a ball, then target again to swallow it.
- 2Aim with the red arrow by facing your new target, then press B (trigger button) to destroy glass balls.
- 3There is a 1-Up in the upper right area by the mud.

- 1Head right to the Spin Drill and spin/drill into the hole you are standing in to the opposite side where you started.
- 2Head left a little and spin/drill into the hole for a 1-Up.
- 3Head back and around left, then spin/drill into a new hole for coins.
- 4Spin/drill into the small hole near the bottom of the planet with a coin to reach the top of the tower with a Luma and Launch Star.
- 5In the new area, grab the Spin Drill atop a sandy platform.
- 6Stand on a similar platform to the left and spin/drill to reach a tower.
- 7Head right to the end and spin/drill to reach the tallest tower.
- 8Before using the Launch Star, jump right to a smaller tower with coins.
- 9Fall off to the right for the Comet Medal.
- 10Backtrack to the taller tower's peak and use the Launch Star.
- 11Use the Checkpoint Flag.
- 12Run quickly across the yellow platform, avoiding spinning flower enemies.
- 13Go around counter-clockwise (right around left), using the bonus portal if desired.
- 14Come around to the top left, then use the frontmost platform.
- 15Jump to the backmost platform and wait for the Luma to arrive with your Launch Star.
- 16On the next planet, head around right for a Spin Drill.
- 17At the very bottom near the rock, spin/drill inside the hollow part for coins.
- 18Spin/drill in the top part and Launch to the Starshroom ship.
- 19Use the Luma Shop if you can afford the 30 Star Bit cost for a 1-Up or Life Shroom.
- 20Use the Checkpoint Flag and Launch Star at the bottom of the ship to reach Digga-Leg.
- 21Head to the Spin Drill and aim/spin/drill to the glass dome holding the star when it sits under the robot's head.
- 22After each hit, the dome flips to the top and sends drill enemies after you.
- 23If you hit the feet, you will bounce back. Keep trying.
- 24After 3 hits, you win the star.
- 25Use the warp pad in the inside part of the left ear of the Starshroom ship to reach it and get the 1-Up.
- 26Use the bottom portal to return.
