Hepcat Upgrade

Follow this guide to complete the Hepcat Upgrade side quest in Sunset Overdrive. Learn where to find and destroy the four fridges to collect parts and upgrade the Diner.

Alright, so you've kicked off the Hepcat Upgrade quest and had a quick chat with Floyd. Now it's time to get down to business! Your main goal here is to track down and obliterate four fridges. Each one you wreck will drop some essential parts you need.

The game's gonna point you to four spots, one after the other, all marked with a blue mission area. When you get to a spot, just look around for the fridge, blast it, snag the coolant it drops, and then head for the next marker.

Here's the rundown on where to find those fridges:

• The first one is chilling on a balcony, way out on the northwestern edge of the blue search zone, tucked behind some parasols.
• Next up, you'll find one on the ground floor of the mall, right in a shop doorway in the northern part of the area.
• The third fridge is down a dead-end alley, just below the street that leads to the bridge, over in the far northeast.
• Finally, the last one is smack in the middle of the search zone, inside a fenced-off area where some Fizzco Bots are guarding it.

Once you've collected all the parts from these four fridges, make your way back to the Diner. Just interact with the vat there, and boom – you'll have completed the mission and upgraded it!
