This section details advanced bionic arm maneuvers in Bionic Commando that offer unique traversal and collection opportunities, though many are risky and not essential for quest progression.

Tricks:

1. Pass Steel Walls in Neutral Area 15: To retrieve the Orange Communicator without triggering alarms, stand on the lower platform next to the steel walls. Swing over the water, and just before hitting the water, shoot your arm diagonally right. If successful, you'll grab a low platform to the right, causing the wall to push you behind it. This is difficult and failing results in losing a life.
2. Swing Below Lowest Platform in Water Levels: In water levels (Areas 1, 6, and neutral areas), drop into the water from the lowest platform. Just before splashing, shoot your arm diagonally towards the platform to grab it and swing underneath. Be careful not to grab too high or too late to avoid falling or getting back on the platform.
3. Get All Bullets in Neutral Area 14: In a room with 10 timed bullets, collect the first set on the initial low platform, then move to the far left for more. Drop back, go to the far right edge, and shoot your arm diagonally right to a far upper right platform. This swing will knock you down to collect more bullets. Quickly climb to the platform above to get the last ones.
4. Get to the Secret Room in Area 3: Within the Area 3 complex, a secret room is located in the top right corner. To access it, perform a difficult arm swing into the roof from the platform across the contact room. A video demonstration is available on Gricksigger's Bionic Commando website.
