Walkthrough

    Glide to the island and flame the Wild Boar for a golden gem, collecting 15 gems nearby.

    Charge the RS on the island for a green gem.

    Glide back to the nearest reachable island and jump down the hole.

    In the area below, charge the SR to the right, defeat the two HTs one at a time, and then charge the remaining SR for 11 gems.

    Smash the wooden chests along the wall for 7 gems and break open the two golden-topped chests beside them.

    Continue through the archway into an area with enemies.

    As you enter, a WB will run towards you from behind an SR; let the WB charge through other enemies if possible.

    Go right, line yourself up with the WB and the two SRs in between; let the WB run through both SRs, then flame it for a purple gem. Collect the green and purple gems dropped by the SRs.

    Scour the purple floor for seven red gems.

    Run to the alcove opposite your position and collect 7 gems.

    Follow the edge to the left, around the wall, to find a golden-topped chest; smash it open.

    Jump up the steps you just climbed to find the 'Return Home' vortex.

    To the right of the vortex are two metal chests containing purple gems.

    After a mass of enemies, right beside the exit vortex, you will find Bubba. He will tell you to charge and flame enemies.

    Glide ahead onto the reachable wall, slow-step to the edge, and glide to the ruined wall ahead which has steps.

    Jump up the steps, being careful as they get higher and thinner.

    At the top, grab two red gems, turn around, smash the purple-filled metal chests on the edge, and collect an extra gem in between.

    Destroy the purple and golden-topped chests on the ledge.

    From the top step, look out into the water from the corner to see logs; glide to the nearest one.

    Jump up to the third log for four red gems.

    On the bridge ahead are seven SRs; charge through each of them. The first six drop green gems, and the last drops a purple gem.

    Face the exit vortex and take a blind glide over to it.

Tips
  • When encountering the Wild Boar (WB), try to let it charge through other enemies to defeat them.
  • Use the SRs as cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) or to your advantage when dealing with charging enemies.
  • The steps on the ruined wall can be thin and get higher, so proceed with caution.
  • The blind glide to the exit vortex is achievable in one go.

Moving On:

From Beast Makers Home, glide over two islands to the right to the big one with the giant tree on. Jump around the tree until you find the portal to Tree Tops. This is considered the hardest level in the game.

Tree Tops Walkthrough Start:

You will fly into the level and land in a sticky out bit of a gigantic tree in the sky. A green Gem Thief will run past other enemies. Do not try to catch it yet. Approach the enemies: a Banana Arrowhead (BA) and a Large Arrowhead (LA). The BA throws bananas which can be dodged. The LA kicks with both feet; any attack works on the BA, but the LA must be flamed. They drop a purple gem.
